I quickly became enamored with Zev, Jonah and their world. I was glad that I got to come along for the ride and was treated to a few surprises along the way. Love is a precious thing and these two learn to grab for it and fight hard to keep it. Their story is a wonderful addition to this series and I hope that we get to see more from this world.

I don't think I have ever read a book by Cardeno C. that hasn't tugged at my heartstrings. Cardeno has a way of writing MCs that just pulls me in and makes me fall in love with them immediately. ... This book touched me so deeply for many different reasons.... It is so sweet to witness Emilio demonstrate the reasons he can't resist Spencer and even more wonderful to watch Spencer start to believe he is handsome. I love how Emilio helps Spencer get over a past trauma that is still causing side effects even now. One of the best parts of the story was the love and acceptance Spencer finally finds, not only from Emilio, but from his entire family. Emilio's uber-tough brothers, his loving sister and his parents all took Spencer in and adopted him into the Sanchez family. ... I love Cardeno's books and this one is no exception. Watching Spencer come out of his shell and seeing that there is more to Emilio than his great body was a fun ride, and it is one I plan on taking as many times as possible. Seriously, you will miss a wonderfully sweet romance if you miss this one!

I loved this little sweet romance. I thought the whole thing was handled very sensitively and it was nice to watch a relationship develop and layers get peeled away. I was really invested in them as a couple and rooting for their happily ever after. A sweet love story, that had enough side story to keep it on the right side of sickly, I will definitely seek out others in this series.

Cardeno C. hits the spot yet again with this new addition to the Family series, raising the heat level by giving us three hot men and a tricky love story, which has heartbreak and forgiveness. This is a wonderfully written story that has you leaving the comfort of a gentle sappy love story and plundering your emotions as we are taken on a whirlwind rollercoaster of Charlie's love life. .. During this story you will be pulled in all directions, we feel the loss as Charlie loses his first love to distance and time, and then his devastation as he realizes his second love wasn't what he first thought. We feel his love for two men that always lingers in his heart, then we feel his confusion and breathtaking heartache when he sees his two ex loves together and in love. We follow along as both Scott and Adan try to get Charlie to let down his walls to let them in, to accept the love that they still both feel for him and to regain the trust that they both trampled. The characters are perfectly written with each one having their own unique personality, they bring out the best in each other, what one lacks another makes up for. This is a beautifully written story and a pure joy to read, the blending of a ménage relationship where they just slot together and become a whole was just perfect. ... From the incredible prologue to the very last page, I was completely and totally captivated by In Another Life. Great characterization and stellar writing are hallmarks of a Cardeno C. story, but it is the very unique concept that makes this novella such an amazing experience. ... Shiloh and Travis are exceptionally well-developed characters and I absolutely adored both of them. ...
