I fell in love with both of these men. Jaime never once made Oliver feel inferior. He was an amazing man and brought Oliver out of his shell. Jaime was tender and passionate. He gave Oliver everything he craved. Watching then fall in love made my heart melt.

Let me tell you...this is the hottest, sexiest book from Cardeno C. yet! ... This was one of the best opposites attracts book that I've read in a long time. It was able to capture everything just right between Jason and Abe. Between the sweet, loving, nurturer that is Abe, and the dirty talking, slightly detached, but willing to concede Jason, it really just clicked into one of the best m/m romances that I've read this year. ...I was so sucked into The Half of Us that when I finished it, I wanted to turn around and re-read it. It was just that good of a story for me. The characters were spot on, the story painted a fantastic portrait of a developing relationship, and kept you hooked into it until the very last word.

Normally when I pick up a Cardeno C. story to read, I have a pretty good idea of what to expect. Normally there is a sweet love story. We either get a friends to lovers story, a second chance at love story, or a rocky road to happiness story. I have loved every single one I have read up to this point...I feel Cardeno C. has written a great story with Reg and Jeremy....Once Jeremy figures out his feelings for Reg, this turns into a no holds barred love affair. These two men seemed to just be made for one another. I loved how Reg just knew exactly what Jeremy needed, and he made sure to give it to him, and Jeremy could do the same for Reg. There was very little, if any, angst in this book, and I think I loved it more because of that. This was a very slow building romantic love story, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend this title, it really shouldn't be missed.

Walk With Me is a beautiful story to close out The Home Series Journey. This is a story of knowing who you love and standing by that, regardless to what others think or feel. ... This story develops and grows over the next 13 or so years. ... Eli backs off the seduction routine and just enjoys Seth for what he is, his best friend. ... Cardeno is, without a doubt, one of the best authors in this genre. ...The humor and funny moments just roll off their tongue and before you know it, you are laughing out loud at their banter back and forth. They soak up the pages with their joy and love for each other. The plot flows effortlessly, even though the story develops over several years, allowing the reader to follow along seamlessly. Each book can stand alone, but it is a little extra special if you have read the others as some of the older characters make an appearance. I am so impressed with the author's ability to take each character and show the growth of maturity that each one has developed over time. ...I highly recommend this story to anyone whether a new reader to C. Cardeno or a loyal follower. You do not want to miss out on a truly feel good, down to your bones, love story. What followed was a story of healing, letting go and learning to trust once again. .... I loved Chase! He was adorably, sweet, quirky and a hell of all lot of fun. .... Hell yeah, Cardeno C came through for me, yet again! .... I appreciated that Cardeno didn't just wrap it all up with a pretty bow. Nope, Cardeno made all of them work through their issues until they could move forward. ...As a fan of Cardeno C this book was everything I was expecting and as a hopeless romantic this story brought about the tears, the smiles and the "awww" moments I've come to expect from a fantastic romance.
