Basically the perfect read.
Cardeno has once again succeeded in writing a heart wrenching, heartwarming, and scorchingly hot book. ...It is hard to fault the writing, which has just brought a whole host of characters to life in my head, and given some visuals on Mitch and Simon that I may revisit at times of need. The peace and calm that is instilled by the huge alpha is tangible. The fear and confusion from Simon is distressingly real. All round fabulous read.
it was fantastic....I couldn't put it down, I had to take my e-reader just so I could sneak 45 minutes of reading while I waited to pick up my kids. There is a lot of sexiness that takes place in this book, but what I love is there is also a story line to go along with it. I really enjoyed watching both mcs struggle to keep it a one time thing, cause that is all Jason wants and Abe knows the score, only to realize they can't fight the pull they have to one another. I also must say I loved, loved, loved, Jason's ex-wife....Cardeno knows how to write a low angst, fun filled, beautiful love story. If you have not read anything by this author, I suggest you start now you won't be disappointed. I promise.
It's lovely and thoughtful, and it still rains fluffy kittens from the sky of sweetness like the rest of the collection.
Vampire + wolf shifter = truly hawt, delicious fun. This book was so damn smexy, I may have needed a cold shower, or three. Miguel and Ethan are constantly on each other, licking, sucking, BITING. Plus, the romance factor was through the roof: knotting, mating, and blood bonding (blood, you all, so much blood). And MINE MINE MINE forever. ...Ethan and Miguel are an awesome couple. Ethan narrates this book in the first-person, and I loved his small-town, farm-boy persona. I giggled many times.
