This really is a heart warming story. Both characters are likeable but in such different ways....It was lovely to see their relationship grow and to watch in particular Jeremy's realisation that his past failures with women may actually be down to the fact that he is in fact gay. He is needy and craves love and attention, luckily he has found Reg who is someone that is a natural giver (please ladies/men - I don't mean it like that) and enjoys looking after Jeremy and keeping him safe, secure and grounded. If you want to read a story of self discovery, friendship, love and loyalty as well as some hot M/M scenes; Perfect imperfections is the perfect (excuse the pun!) easy read :)

This was, truly, one of the best coming out journeys I've read and I loved taking it with Ben. I adored him and Micah, with the added benefit of seeing Ben grow closer to Noah and Clark. This was an excellent addition to the series and I'm so very glad the author wrote a story for Ben. Thank you, Cardeno, I loved it.

I have read every book in this series and let me just say Cardeno C. did not disappoint on this one. This author truly has a way with her words that not only excite you but also leave you feeling really good. There isn't a whole lot of drama or angst in any of these books in this series but one thing you can certainly count on is that there is plenty of steamy scenes to wet anyone's appetite. ...The respect and desire these men have for one another really was captivating. I loved experiencing their day to day struggles and having a bird's eye view watching them overcome their fears and issues. Jason is a very complicated man, he's was married before and has two children. So being able to see how he struggles with his responsibilities and becoming comfortable with being who he really is was very endearing to watch. He comes across as an arrogant man, he's controlling and he has a bit of a temper but I think that truly enhanced his appeal. He is not a man of many words but you could really feel how much he opened up to Abe in ways he never thought was possible. Abe is nothing but amazing. He's supportive, patient and willing to do anything to keep Jason happy and grounded. I'd recommend this book for romance lovers who enjoy the journey of going through the tough times, second chances, as I said, as well as some hot scenes.

I truly loved the dynamics of this family as it felt so realistic and organic. ...The author did such an amazing job creating these amazing and brilliant characters and their stories. The sex scenes were so hot yet beautiful and loved the connection that Abe and Jason shared and then to bring in Jason's family was just wonderful. The way the author developed the amazing character of Jason was great as he had to come to turns with a lot in his life and his heart was still open to having that family life. I highly recommend The Half Of US by Cardeno C to anyone who loves reading about the true meaning of love and family!
