I really loved watching these two rediscover why they worked so well when they were a couple and also figuring out what came between them in the first place. I loved these two so much, Richard likes being in control and Todd thrives on that. Even though this book is on the shorter side and I finished in one sitting, it is one of those that I know I will be re-reading many times, like when I need a hug. Just like most all of Cardeno’s books this is one I definitely recommend if you want something sweet, hot in that alpha male “just do what I say cause I know what is best for you” way. You won’t regret it.
Collins deep, warm voice, gave life and credence to the characters, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to his voice. In my opinion, if you can’t have a movie, the next best thing is an audiobook, it truly does immerse you into the storyline.
What I loved about these men and their story was CC’s ability to show their growth over time.
And while to some extent, shifters are shifters, there are some unique aspects to these particular individuals in the world that Cardeno C. has created.
My love for a good angsty read aside, I've found that the thing I like best about Cardeno C.'s stories is that the couples easily connect and have wonderful chemistry....This book touched me. I'm not sure if it was the sweet friendship, the sense that these two were meant for each other or the fact that their families and friends were so supportive and loving, but I was all in almost from the moment I read the first page. The wedding announcements that preface each chapter were amusing and I adored how the author used them to inject humor and set the theme throughout the book....Walk With Me is the seventh book in the Home series, but can easily be read as a stand-a-lone. I haven't read the rest of the series and I had no problem following along. If the thought of reading through the whole series to get to this one feels a bit daunting, I thinks it's safe to just skip ahead and pick this one up.
