So, this audiobook had me enthralled from the first word until the very last one. I was just taken in by this story and I really had a hard time putting it down in order to work. Sigh. I listened to this book while getting my nails done, grocery shopping, commuting to work as well as being at work. I listened any moment that I could.

I also loved the strong family themes that were pervasive in this story…Abe's relationship with his family, Jason's with his ex-wife and children, and the new relationships formed when they became a couple. Jason wasn't all that likable for quite a bit of the story and I loved having my opinion of him evolve as he did. It was one of the strengths of the writing. This transitions from steamy (off the charts) encounters to a relationship of substance that works on so many levels.

This book was simply music to my ears, right down to the most non-descript moan. This book was also by far one of CC's sexiest novels as well.

Beans: I really loved the premise of this story and it was beautifully written. Abel is a bit of an ass and Kai is so wounded it breaks your heart. I loved Kai's sister in this and I think Abel needed to grovel for years but Kai has such a forgiving heart and just wants his mate, his friend. ...Highly recommend!Nina: I enjoyed every minute of it. Beans: The fight between these two makes for an incredibly enjoyable read. I love how Vy is fighting for his mate but also struggles with his desires. Robert and his fear of letting his bear control him, but Vy is pushing all his buttons, his human and shifter natures… Robert and Vy stop arguing and it turns into something else. Something beautiful and sexual with some deep cravings and it burns on the page. … I loved this book. It's fantastic and a great book to lose yourself in.Nina: Amazingly enough, these authors were able to create a story that surpassed all the hype. I adored every character and moment, there was not a false note, error or lose thread. This is one of the best writing partnerships that I have ever been blessed to read, the writing styles complimented each other and the two voices wove together seamlessly… Robert truly loved and appreciated everything about Vy and wanted to be with him, he just wanted their relationship to be as humans… They both want the same thing they are just coming at it from different places and calling it different things. But both men want to be together, they just have to find a way to compromise and see it from the other man's perspective. The sexual tension and desire between these men was delicious. When they give in to it and allow themselves to express their growing affection for each other it is amazing. The sex was hot,…
