Jonathan and David are so sweet together. David adores Jonathan and his son, Sam, and Jonathan worships the ground David walks on. The story is sweet, funny, hot and filled with romantic moments.

Pack dynamics and interesting shifters made this an enjoyable romance with some great action sequences. …Robert isn't interested in shifting, and, therefore, doesn't recognize Vy as his mate. Vy struggled with wanting to be with Robert while at the same time feeling very frustrated that Robert wouldn't recognize him as his true mate. Instead, Robert is just interested in Vy as a person. This leads to the biggest conflict between these two mates, and gives the story an interesting twist on the instant love we usually see with mates. … I enjoyed the focus on the different issues with the pack members, and the trouble that they were having with another pack.

it was fantastic....I couldn't put it down, I had to take my e-reader just so I could sneak 45 minutes of reading while I waited to pick up my kids. There is a lot of sexiness that takes place in this book, but what I love is there is also a story line to go along with it. I really enjoyed watching both mcs struggle to keep it a one time thing, cause that is all Jason wants and Abe knows the score, only to realize they can't fight the pull they have to one another. I also must say I loved, loved, loved, Jason's ex-wife....Cardeno knows how to write a low angst, fun filled, beautiful love story. If you have not read anything by this author, I suggest you start now you won't be disappointed. I promise.

This is an incredible story of two shifters coming together from different angles, one from shifter mating and the other from human attraction, and working out their differences to become a couple where love shines through. ...This was a wonderful story to read, it was such a joy to see these two men, who value different things about a person, to come together and make their relationship work. It isn't easy though because Vy places such value in his animal instincts, but Robert goes with his human instincts... Control is another beautifully blended story, the authors writing slips seamlessly together and complements each other perfectly. ...The storyline is wonderful showing that getting to know your mate is just as important as the mating instinct. There is some danger, tension, and violence but none of it is overdone and fits perfectly in the story, it isn't just there for show. I recommend this to those that love shifters, difficult matings, fantastic characters, a great storyline, hot sex, a story that leaves you with the warm fuzzies and a wonderful ending.
