Boyfriends come and go but best friends are forever has always been Andrew and Caleb's mantra. Can they be both?
At fourteen, Andrew Thompson and Caleb Lakes become best friends. As the years pass, they stand by each other through family trauma, school, and the start of their careers. They share their first sexual experiences, learning and experimenting, and they talk each other through countless dates and breakups.
Decades of trust and loyalty build a deep and abiding friendship, one that surpasses any relationship in their lives. But when the parameters of their unique friendship change, neither man knows how to break out of their established roles to build something new. After all, boyfriends come and go, but best friends are forever.
“Harder, oh God, Drew…harder!” Caleb Lakes flattened his palms against his headboard, locked his elbows, and braced himself against his roommate’s animalistic thrusts. There was no way this was going to last long. Not with those familiar I’m-about-to-blow-my-load grunts flowing from Andrew’s mouth in a steady stream while his thick dick shoved into Caleb with uncoordinated abandon.
Long fingers curled around Caleb’s waist, muscular thighs wedged between his spread legs, and firm hips undulated behind him. Caleb knew what would come next. Andrew Thompson’s body during sex was as familiar to Caleb as his own. That smooth long neck would tilt back, green eyes would clench shut, plump lips would drop open, and a pink tongue would dart out. Then Andrew would shout out Caleb’s name and his body would stiffen as his cock pulsed, releasing his seed.
Just the thought of Andrew in the throes of passion was…
Cardeno always writes such wonderful sex scenes, and Alexander Collins has a great delivery of the heat and chemistry between the two characters.
This is a delightful story that I will never forget.
Positively phenomenal! A unique spin on the friends to lover theme with an amazing relationship-based story. Andrew Thompson and Caleb Lakes meet and become the best of friends while young teenagers. The story takes us through the next 20 years of their lives as they maintain their status as best friends with benefits. The question is whether or not they can ever move past this point. I loved both of these very well developed characters. Caleb was sweet, charming, an amazing friend, and a very strong person. It was adorable how he always had to be dressed to perfection. Andrew is brilliant, graduating from school early and ultimately becoming a top neurosurgeon. He's extremely kind but also very lonely due to his brilliance. He longs for a permanent relationship, but repeatedly chooses men who cheat on him. ... By the time they figured it out, I was crying happy tears! If you enjoy an amazing friends to lovers with benefits theme with great dialogue, strong characters, and an interesting life journey, this more than fits the bill.
I am glad I got to read Andrew and Caleb's story as I love to know all about the couples that are featured in the Home books.
