I wrote this flash fic for Boy Meets Boy Reviews featuring the characters in Wake Me Up Inside. Enjoy! - CC
When I read To Touch You, I didn’t realise it was part of an established series, so I can honestly say that it can be read as a stand-alone novel despite being the fourth book in the Mates Collection.
CC never disappoints in the feels, romance, and smex departments. Blue Mountain is equal parts tender and steamy. The slow-burn made the inevitable coming together all the hotter, and the dynamics between the two men were very believable
This was so insanely cute, I can barely stand it. ... and contains lots of feels, steam, and wicked fun.
Although In Your Eyes is part of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone. I thought it was a great story, and I loved seeing Samuel's transition from completely closed off to a man coming alive in so many ways after he and Korban truly found each other.
McFarland's is a beautifully written romantic-without-going-cheesy fairy tale novella about a gentle beastly bear loving his beauty. The great thing is that both men did not jump the creek and go for it, they went with the flow, fighting their attraction through the getting-to-know-each-other stage before they finally succumbed. Yes, theirs is a beautiful fairy tale romance that just made the 'awwws' fall from my lips and had me smiling goofy even as I write this. ....Lovely. Lovely, lovely, lovely. **smilingoofy**
