I liked how these guys get together and how Kyle’s perception and treatment of Brent changes. Kyle comes across in a better light here, so by the end of the story I’d grown to like him. We are treated to a few of CC’s trademark steamy scenes.

There’s exactly the right mix of romance, sex, and angst.  I will never hesitate to recommend his/her books 

I loved the humor with which Ethan tells his story and the change in mood from totally flippant and somewhat annoyed with life to thoughtful, appreciative and loving at the end. ... Deep feelings and good characterizations are not easy to develop in such a short story, but the author manages it really well. Ethan pulled me in from the very start; while it was the initial humor that made me smile, it was his cluelessness that kept me reading. I wanted to know if he'd get it. And at the end, when he finally admitted how he felt, the depth of his emotions was very rewarding. If you like short, sweet stories with a (temporal) twist, you will probably like this one.

Although In Your Eyes is part of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone. I thought it was a great story, and I loved seeing Samuel's transition from completely closed off to a man coming alive in so many ways after he and Korban truly found each other.

In Your Eyes is a lovely story that looks at the way two men with different strengths complement and support one another, making them both stronger. ....we see how Korbin helps Samuel connect with his heart, to finally make room for emotion and feeling in the midst of all the intellect. It is the perfect true mates fantasy, two men who are only complete when they are together, who need one another to become whole. Outside of the relationship, the story also focuses on the larger pack conflicts... Cardeno C really writes such romantic, heartwarming stories and In Your Eyes is no exception. I loved both Samuel and Korbin, and especially loved the way the two men make each other full and whole. I especially enjoyed seeing Samuel finally find the other side of himself, to learn to feel instead of just think with Korbin's help. It is sweet and romantic and really wonderfully done.
