Accountant slash bartender Reg will show rock star Jeremy how to have fun...and possibly fall in love.
Hollywood royalty Jeremy Jameson has lived a sheltered life with music as his sole focus and only friend. Before embarking on yet another international concert tour, he wanders into a bar in what he considers the middle-of-nowhere and meets a man who wins him over with his friendly smile and easy-going nature. Accountant slash bartender slash adventure-seeker Reg Moore has fun talking and drinking with The Jeremy Jameson and can't say no when the supposedly straight rock star makes him a once in a lifetime offer: keep him company on his tour by playing the part of his boyfriend.
Listening to music, traveling the world, and jumping off cliffs is fun. Falling in love is even better. But to stay with Jeremy after the stage lights dim, Reg will need to help him realize there's nothing pretend about their relationship.

With the worn-to-hell baseball cap pulled low over his face, Jeremy Jameson walked into the bar. At least he assumed it was a bar, based on the lopsided sign out front that simply said "Bar" in peeling red paint and the stench of beer and cigarette smoke that permeated the air. The interior space wasn't any cleaner or hipper than the parking lot.
Jeremy tried to remember the last time he had been in a club or bar or restaurant that wasn't sleek with carefully positioned lighting and well-maintained fixtures. Never. The answer to that question was never. Even musicians who started on the bottom and worked their way up probably wouldn't have come to a dive like this; it was too small, too out of the way, and it didn't have a stage or any room to set up equipment.
Internally lecturing himself for thinking about work…
I really enjoyed this sweet romance. ...The relationship develops over a realistic timeframe and the love was sweet and real and they both had this need for each other which was lovely to witness.
over all this romance and this couple kept me reading right up until their happily ever after....Jeremy and Reg connect right off the bat. They have great chemistry and banter and Reg seems to know exactly how to manage the high-maintenance Jeremy....I loved how their relationship slowly developed into a very deep friendship and then eventually into an intense love affair....They are fun, incredibly sweet and once they enter into a sexual relationship, smoking hot....This friends to lovers romance was so sweet and endearing that I would recommend to any lover of contemporary m/m romance.
There are some very funny moments in this book...fleshlights...and the way that Reg just keeps pushing and waiting for that ah-ha moment cracked me up. There are also some very sensual moments and as always with this author they are beautifully written.....This is a perfect lazy day read when you want something that will interest you but not overwhelm you with angst.
I hadn't read anything by C. in the past, and after reading this book, I have no idea why! ...C. did an amazing job of making me believe in the relationship and love between Reg and Jeremy. I adored both Reg and Jeremy. I loved that they were both so different, and yet complimented each other perfectly. Reg was this laid back and easy going guy who let everything slide off his back. Jeremy was a hot head that let life get to him, and was easily angered and quick to yell. ...The dynamic between them was so much fun to read! I also love the way their romance developed at a snail's pace throughout the book. I loved the way Reg proved that he could be the best friend and asset that Jeremy needed to keep a level head. I also adored the way that they built their friendship on games, beer, and pizza. It was genuine and real and I believed in it with everything. ...Their relationship felt real and honest and although I wasn't sure how it would all work out, I ended up absolutely loving every step of their journey...I adored Jeremy and Reg both, and thought their romance was absolutely perfect.
