This was such a good story. Two men who have been there for each other so much so that they miss that there is more to their relationship than either of them even realize.
I enjoyed this story so much. It was so hard to put down because I just had to know how things were going to end up for the two men.
I really appreciated how connected these men were, in all ways, and was happy to see them finally realize that being together was where they would fit the best. The narration of Alexander Collins never ceases to make me happy. He has such range, and talent for creating voices for the characters that I haven’t heard in his other Emile City characters. The differences between these two men could be noticed immediately, merely by his tone of voice.
Alexander does such a wonderful job eliciting emotions from the written word and pulls you into the story the way a really good narrator should. Alexander does such an AMAZING job bringing the characters to life and allowing you to feel what they are feeling. You are right there with them and going along with them on this journey.
What I enjoy about this series is that there is a connection between the books and characters, but not in a way that they must all be read or read in order. The story is sexy, emotional, occasionally intense but light-hearted when it needs to be.
