I recommend this to those who love sweet sexy love stories, putting the past firmly in the past, some hot sexy scenes, squishing the ex and a delightful ending.

Multitasking Mommas This book kind of sweeps into the readers' minds who ultimately gets swept into the author's tale willingly. ... The best parts of this story was really the relationship of Emilio had with his family and it was quite understandable that Spencer was envious of it that he really wanted to become a part of it. The rough housing type of sibling fun between the brothers and in-law was hilarious and their closing in as a unit to protect Spencer was incredibly sweet. ...This is romantic fiction at its best. I just fell for this whole idea of what love can be and how falling in love can be likened to a lightning strike. Needless to say, I fell asleep with a big smile on.

My Fiction Nook Sweet and sappy and adorable. A feel-good story about second chances at love and trusting again. The book fully met the expectations I had formed based on the blurb, and thus succeeded in what it promised. ... I like the characterizations. ... I liked how the author created two very different characters, opposites in almost every aspect, and completely made it work. The naughty scenes were holy hot boysecks, but underlined with tons of emotions, and the dialogue felt organic and realistic. I also liked the supporting characters in Emilio's family and Spencer's friend. ... The author's voice (new to me) was lovely, the writing crisp and still emotionally charged. A great book with which to spend a few hours escaping from your own life.

On Top Down Under Book Reviews It was a sweet, sexy and easy read... I loved the two MC's, I loved the simple, yet not so simple storyline... Some of the brother banter scenes are hilarious and I felt myself flinching and giggling from familiarity. This is a character driven story and it is well written. Not too heavy, if it was a movie it would be a romcom. ... The whole build up and the "normal" development of their relationship is handled beautifully by CC. The evolution of trust and patience is beautiful to read, and Emilio actually listens to some of the advice from his family, especially his sister. The secondary characters featured are strong and in perfect support for Emilio and Spencer. ... The sex was hot and sweet at the same time.

Prism Book Alliance I first read this on my kindle a few months ago and I think the second time round was even better for me....I loved how Spencer gained confidence throughout the book, I loved watching him realize that Emilio wasn't like other men who had trampled on him and that he could get his HEA. I loved that he learned to trust and that Emilio was there for him every step of the way.
