Literary Nymphs Reviews Strong Enough is the new release in the Family series by Cardeno C. Please note it's a standalone, so the books can be read in any order. Okay. It's entertaining, sweet and charming. It's a true story of opposites attract. Some might say it's cheesy or even sappy but I don't care. I thoroughly enjoyed it and couldn't stop reading until I reached the end. Yes, there isn't a lot of outside conflict but poor Spencer is filled with enough personal angst to sink a relationship without any help from the outside. Thankfully he has the ever patient Emilio. The author did a great job developing the personalities and backgrounds of both men. The imagery is good, the flow's smooth and the emotions believable. Oh and the sex - steamy. I can usually pick a favorite character but in this case, I can't. I like them both. I hope you like the book as much as I did.

Live Your Life, Buy the Book I loved this book! ... The characters are adorable and sexy, sweet and passionate, and did I mention sexy? Right. Emilio is just one of those characters I couldn't help but love. He is tall, dark and handsome. Sexy and confident, without being arrogant. ... Spencer is a sweet, shy, intelligent college math professor and very innocent in some ways even though he is thirty-eight years old and has been in relationships before. ... I loved how Emilio tuned into Spencer's discomfort and talks about the repairs and renovations that Spencer wants to do to his home, to help him relax. ... I loved Emilio's family, his brothers are a hoot and I enjoyed the dynamics between them. ... While reading this book, I laughed, had teary moments, felt angry (Peter) but over all it made me very happy. It is a lovely, sweet, feel good romance that touched my heart with characters I thoroughly enjoyed.

Love Bites and Silk Ties I love both Spencer and Emilio and even Emilio's brothers. All the characters are engaging and fun and I really lapped up this story. It was sweet and spicy all rolled up into a book I couldn't put down until I was done. Absolutely fabulous!

Lustful Literature This story is a very sweet, romantic, feel good kind of book with some steam mixed in...I really loved this couple, the age difference didn't bother me at all. Once I got to know these men I couldn't help but really route for them. They may have gotten together really fast but you could honestly feel the respect, trust and love they had for each other. It really left me feeling really good. I definitely would recommend this book.

Manic Readers It was like a fairy tale, but real. And that right there is why I love every one of Cardeno's characters. They feel real because they deal with real issues. Yes, Spencer and Emilio developed strong feelings for each other in a short time, but I can accept that because the connection Cardeno developed between went beyond lust. You could feel it with each honest word they spoke and with every intimate touch they shared. ... Ahhh, to lose myself once again in one of Cardeno's stories. It's like coming home, in a way. A fun, heart-warming story full of those "aww" moments I'm so fond of, Strong Enough has the right combination of sweet and sexy. What more can I ask for? I have to say that Strong Enough has become one of my favorite books by Cardeno to date.
