Strong Enough Reviews

Dark Diva Reviews Strong Enough by Cardeno C. was a beautiful sentimental love story that kept me warm inside and put a smile on my face. I loved the younger confident man meets shy older professor story line. ... The dynamics between Emilio and Spencer flew off the pages as their synergy meshed and their personalities complimented each other. .. Strong Enough held the meaning of life; who one falls in love with can't always be helped, a family should always be on your side (even though that doesn't always happen), but if there is strength of will and character, love will be found. Cardeno C. wrote this strength in Emilio and Spencer and happiness prevailed. Strong Enough flew to this reviewer's top ten list of favorite books.

Hearts on Fire Reviews This book gave me everything I was hungry for and didn't even realize I was craving! Make sure you have a strong sweet tooth before diving in. Emilio, oh my, Emilio. He's sex on legs – big, but gentle, tough but caring, young with an old soul, protective and irresistible all rolled into one wickedly hot package. ... Spencer. He's smart, shy, vulnerable, kind of messed up, completely bewildered as to why a young and sexy hunk would be interested in him, and thoroughly overwhelmed with Emilio's confidence and direct approach. ... I loved and adored these guys together. Their passion was enough to set off a raging forest fire. The age gap worked really well, especially having a super confident younger man going after the uncertain older man who carried some baggage. ... There's virtually no angst in this story and I ended up loving it that way. The relationship begins immediately and just grows stronger with each successive page. Whenever I'm craving a really good dessert, I'll be reaching for this story again. Definitely one of my favorites by this author and a keeper on my favorites shelf!!

Joyfully Jay So this second installment of Cardeno C's Family series is sweet and syrupy and romantic (and oh so incredibly sexy). It is a book for when you want to feel good, filled with people who are happy and mushily in love. There is conflict, but it is fairly mild and most of the book focuses on Spencer and Emilio and how much they want and love each other. And sometimes that kind of story is exactly what I want, and as a result, I really loved this book.... One of my favorite tropes in my romance are stories with age gaps. I love that sense of one partner caring for the other and exposing him to new things that comes from more life (and sexual) experience. What I really loved here is how the author turns that around. ... These guys were just so sweet together and I just loved them. I also really enjoyed Emilio's family, full of big, burly brothers and a sister. ...There is such a playfulness and banter between the siblings that brings a lot of fun into the story....Definitely recommended, especially when you want something warm, sweet, sexy, and low on the angst. P.S. This book is the second in the Family series, but as with most of the author's other series, they do not need to be read in order.
