The Book Vixen Highly enjoyable book full of humor with a sexy and tender romance that develops over time....I loved Seth and Eli as characters and how their relationship develops over time from friends to lovers. ... It's rare in romance reading to see a true friendship in leads and I adored this aspect of the novel. However, that isn't to say their relationship doesn't turn spicy when they're both ready for it, after all, this is a Cardeno C novel! ...But even better than the well written sexual chemistry is the emotional intimacy between Eli and Seth. ...I think humor is extremely difficult to convey, especially in a romance novel but this novel had many laugh out loud moments for me.

The Novel Approach Reviews Throughout the book, Cardeno C. gives us lively and hilarious anecdotes of all the Jewish weddings Seth officiates, and these help to move the story along and keep us entertained. Oh, what we will do for love. I would recommend this book; it was a great ending to Cardeno C.'s first series. In the dedication, Cardeno C. says that she hopes it made us smile. It did.

The Romance Reviews A very sweet, loving and strong friendship ... We see how they've touched each other's lives over the years and how their relationship grows. It was very natural and their friendship felt genuine. It was easy to believe in their deep feelings for each other. The existing friendship made their HEA that much sweeter. ... Whew. Cardeno C. knows how to write those sex scenes. Eli and Seth were way hot together and I loved how outgoing Seth became once he and Eli were together. I love this entire series and would recommend it to any M/M reader. They're sweet, romantic and a make for a nice, easy comfort read. They're really great on audio, too, for you audiobook listeners.

I can’t tell you how much I loved this sweet love story between these characters. Even though it’s sort of a love at first sight book, their relationship is given a lot of time to grow before they act on it. There are many funny parts, one semi-angsty part, and a very happy ending. I definitely recommend this book and the rest of the series.
