I liked the narration as much as the story itself. Both voices were different, and I felt uplifted by the way the plot unfolded, and that is due in part, to the narrator, Robert M. Clark. Of course, it most certainly is mostly due to the inimitable style and romantic imagination of Cardeno C. But the two together make a great story better. If you like shifter stories, consider this one. It’s just a few hours long but packed a lot of pleasure into my day so I’m happy to recommend it.
I am NEVER disappointed reading a Cardeno C. novel and Not a Game hit the romance spot....Cardeno C.’s characters are down to earth and people we’d meet on the streets, and want to get to know.
It's has CC's signature sweet romance, humour, and hotness so the only thing I didn't like about this story was that it ended far too soon (*tears*)
I truly loved this book. Cardeno C. writes romances with a lot of heart that never fails to give readers that feel-good feeling we all love and crave in our romance novels.
I really enjoyed how the relationship between the two progresses and the amount of love and friendship shown. Mitch is certainly one to have on your side, I thought he was brilliant. Simon proved that he was stronger than everyone thought (apart from Mitch) and to see his turnaround was wonderful.
