I enjoyed Alexander Collins's narration a great deal. 

The love scenes are awesomely hot, steamy and sexy but there's also some lovely moments of true romance mixed in there too and that lifts them up a notch. …Vy and Robert are meant to be together but it's watching them both come to that realization, each in their own way, mate bond or not, that's so lovely to watch…. As you can guess it's another one that goes onto my 'I loved it' shelf and another one that makes me thank the day I discovered m/m! … an appealing, engaging, feel good, nice and spicy shifter book that uses a familiar topic yet still manages to be innovative is just what the doctor ordered! Smiles all round!

I have read every book in this series and let me just say Cardeno C. did not disappoint on this one. This author truly has a way with her words that not only excite you but also leave you feeling really good. There isn't a whole lot of drama or angst in any of these books in this series but one thing you can certainly count on is that there is plenty of steamy scenes to wet anyone's appetite. ...The respect and desire these men have for one another really was captivating. I loved experiencing their day to day struggles and having a bird's eye view watching them overcome their fears and issues. Jason is a very complicated man, he's was married before and has two children. So being able to see how he struggles with his responsibilities and becoming comfortable with being who he really is was very endearing to watch. He comes across as an arrogant man, he's controlling and he has a bit of a temper but I think that truly enhanced his appeal. He is not a man of many words but you could really feel how much he opened up to Abe in ways he never thought was possible. Abe is nothing but amazing. He's supportive, patient and willing to do anything to keep Jason happy and grounded. A touching love story with the amazing character depth that Cardeno C. always brings to the table.

There are not many books that can get to me in so few pages, it takes a very talented author to make 80 pages feel like 300. This is a very creative twist to It's a Wonderful Life and I enjoyed the unique timeline shifts in the story. Shiloh and Travis are two very likeable characters and it didn't take me long to become invested in their lives. This will be a holiday story that I will read every year if for no other reason than to remind myself how important the choices we make in life are to so many people. If you like your holiday stories short and beautifully emotional than In Another Life should be in your library!
