Emotionally laden romance with excellent alternating dual first-person narration that I devoured. Its cloying sweetness and perfection hit my romance sweet-tooth perfectly. ... I'm a sucker for the friends to lovers romance trope and I got that here but without a lot of angst that usually happens for the previously "straight" lead. Jake's total acceptance of his love for Nate had a simplicity that is rarely found in gay-for-you books and I ate it with a spoon! This book is emotionally intense where every sex scene is steeped in the men's grandiose feelings for each other and I loved this huge romantic relationship....I loved how this romance was told as well as the huge, idealistic relationship between two nearly perfect men.

I adored this story. It's sweet but also has some emotional moments that really grabbed my heart. I loved the contrasting characters and how well-balanced they were. ...If you're looking for a shifter story that has sweetness, a touch of angst and an intriguing plot, definitely give this one a try!

The story was great, as well as the characters. And let's not forget how hot these two are together.

And so begins the adventure of Jeremy and Reg and it is absolutely lovely. ...His initial meeting with Reg, well, it just highlights how being The Jeremy Jameson might just be a pretty tough way to live. What Reg does, through the glamour and otherwise that is the life of a rock star, is treat Jeremy like a "buddy, an equal, a regular guy." And this pampered, lonely rock star loves it. ... Let's put it out there – Jeremy of the purple hair is a wonderful thing. Purple hair gets me every time. But Reg? I loved him. He's patient, kind and adventurous but he is also loyal and sweet....But mostly, I just loved the maybe too perfect coming together of Jeremy and Reg.

They say good things come in little packages and this beautifully written sexy novella certainly fits the bill....I loved this storyline and ... delicious and altogether addictive characters. This novella gave a whole bite size of steamy lusciousness that left me begging for more. Five stars!
