I'm a big Cardeno C. fan, especially when CC delivers, and I think that happened with these two stories. Cardeno C. is my go-to for Jewish MC romance, and these two Hanukkah stories really hit the mark.

I think that listening to this was a wonderful way to experience this story and it added to my enjoyment immensely.

IMO: One of the best MM romances I've recently read. The author successfully writes a believable romance where readers are shown why and how these men become a couple over time and through difficulties - just what I look for in romance.

Their interactions make for priceless scenes. Turning the page becomes an adventure and we discover along with Jeremy and Reg that sometimes our imperfections are what make us perfect. ... Perfect Imperfections by Cardeno C captures our emotions and our hearts with the story of Jeremy and Reg.

It's a fun and entertaining book with a steady pace, a surprising amount of tenderness, considering Miguel's bad-ass attitude at the beginning, and some vivid world building. Both Miguel and Ethan have well developed personalities and they blend together nicely as a couple - and their chemistry - it's sizzling. There are several seamlessly placed secondary characters but I enjoyed Ethan's sweet sister, Crissy, the most. That's not to say a number of those other characters don't supply some needed action and danger - so watch out for troublemakers.
