I really, really enjoyed this story.....Abe and Jason are great together. Their chemistry is both steamy and loving. They have a great dynamic and Cardeno really grows their relationship. ...Their sex is both steamy, hot, sensual and gentle.....The family dynamic was a great addition as well. All of the twists and turns in this story – in the end, it was about finding love, holding on to family and being there for each other.

This is a seriously sweet and sexy read. Cardeno C. never fails to give us a feel good, heart-warming ride and I love that I can look forward to every book knowing that my heart will be happy and full! ... This book is completely stand-alone and definitely worth picking up. If you want a hot, sexy yet sweet and heart-warming read then this is for you!

I also loved the strong family themes that were pervasive in this story…Abe's relationship with his family, Jason's with his ex-wife and children, and the new relationships formed when they became a couple. Jason wasn't all that likable for quite a bit of the story and I loved having my opinion of him evolve as he did. It was one of the strengths of the writing. This transitions from steamy (off the charts) encounters to a relationship of substance that works on so many levels.

Their story was a give and take, when one needed the other was there and vice versa. I loved seeing how open and honest Abe was and how willing he was to do things just because he was trusting his gut. Jason never knew what hit him. He saw someone he wanted and went after him even though he didn't understand his reasoning at the time. He didn't hide away from his wants and he too trusted his gut to know what he wanted.
