Story is sweet with a touch of spice and some nice shots of humor

Cardeno C and Mary Calmes are both amazing authors and combined they have written and story that is sensual and yet gritty. There is something to be said for a story that is not predictable and these characters are definitely anything but easy to figure out. The story itself is not the usual fare and it is great to read about characters that don't just fall into an easy relationship. The fact that they each have to learn about themselves on their way to learning about the other person made for a story that seems so much more realistic. This was without question a story that was crafted by two amazingly talented authors in a way that is not the average story.

This really is a heart warming story. Both characters are likeable but in such different ways....It was lovely to see their relationship grow and to watch in particular Jeremy's realisation that his past failures with women may actually be down to the fact that he is in fact gay. He is needy and craves love and attention, luckily he has found Reg who is someone that is a natural giver (please ladies/men - I don't mean it like that) and enjoys looking after Jeremy and keeping him safe, secure and grounded. If you want to read a story of self discovery, friendship, love and loyalty as well as some hot M/M scenes; Perfect imperfections is the perfect (excuse the pun!) easy read :)

Beans:  I really loved this book. ...mostly it was about two men finding each other. ...Just two men who became wonderful friends, lovers, and then partners. A beautiful book full of love and life.Nina:  This is a fantastic book ...This book rocked the sexy, fun and the behind the scenes look at the talented artist. ...I enjoyed the ease of the friends to lovers aspect of their romance. There was sexual tension and a slow, sweet build up to them moving to a sexual relationship that allowed time for the trust and emotional intimacy to develop....It all comes together so beautifully and I was left in awe of Cardeno C's ability to take a slightly implausible scenario and make me not only believe it, but rejoice and run out and tell people how wonderful this story is.

Nina: This book is everything that the Home series means to me. Love, friendship, family, growth, relationships, dreams, romance, hot sex, faith, hope, beauty and a delicious kiss of angst. ... This book made me laugh, frequently out loud, there were looks. There are some of the funniest scenes I have ever read in a romance. Beans: Walk with Me is the best book Cardeno C has written in the Home series. It was everything I look for in a good book. The characters felt real. The story drew me in from the first page to the last. It was sweet, funny, lovely, and sexy as all hell. ... I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. I laughed even harder the second time I read the book. Yes I have read it four times already...it's that good. And the the sex? Wowza. Hold on to your hats ladies and gentlemen. Cardeno C takes off the brakes and kicks it into high gear. ...This story is a must read. Yes, you can read it before you read any others, but after you do, you will want to know about all the other men of the Home Series.
