“You better not call me an asshole or tell me I’m selfish or any other bullshit for the rest of our motherfuckin’ lives,” Asher Penaz growled at his friend.
Of course, it was entirely possible that Oliver couldn’t hear him or wasn’t listening. There was no way for Asher to know because there was a wall of nearly naked women between them. He pulled yet more money from his wallet, tucked it into the tiny string holding up the almost-too-small-to-bother bikini gyrating in front of his face, and thought about how he’d never once expected to find himself in this position.

God damn Cardeno C. when you decide to break the mold you do it in a unique and brilliant way. ... Asher and Daniel are a fantastic couple. Daniel changes Asher without even realizing it and Asher introduces Daniel to something he never knew he would like. There's a lot of give and take with both men finding what they really need, but neither man are actively trying. They just naturally provide what the other needs, and whoo the sex is explosive. It isn't all easy between them though, especially when Asher's past rears its ugly head because of his insecurities, a simple touch of jealousy and lack of communication. This is a story not to be missed if you love slight kink, a Dom who wakes up to his needs, a sweet man who likes a touch of dominance, a great story, brilliant characters and a very happy ending, I highly recommend this book to everyone.
Something in the Way He Needs is a fast-paced, sexy read with characters that really live and breathe off of the written words. I highly enjoyed every minute I spent reading about these two men and I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Highly Recommended!
I adored Daniel and loved seeing Asher's tender side with him. I liked the way we see each man slowly figure out what he wants out of life and a relationship, and then figure out how to build that together. They are super sexy together and I found much of the dominance and control aspects of their sex lives super hot. I think the author does a nice job of showing us why these two somewhat unconventional guys just totally work together, and how they just fit one another.
I enjoyed this version of Something in the Way He Needs and look forward to Cardeno's and Robison's next collaboration.
