The chemistry between Jason and Abe is truly over the top.
I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a short and sweet romance.
Cardeno C and Mary Calmes are both amazing authors and combined they have written and story that is sensual and yet gritty. There is something to be said for a story that is not predictable and these characters are definitely anything but easy to figure out. The story itself is not the usual fare and it is great to read about characters that don't just fall into an easy relationship. The fact that they each have to learn about themselves on their way to learning about the other person made for a story that seems so much more realistic. This was without question a story that was crafted by two amazingly talented authors in a way that is not the average story.
It's hard for me to believe that I'm already at book six in Cardeno C.'s 'Home' series and I love each and every book just as much as the prior ones. This author has a way of making every story unique, sexy, loving, emotional, and just plain wonderful. 'The One Who Saves Me' centers around a deep and abiding friendship that begins to change and the issues that can arise. ... I'm running out of words to express how very much I love this author's work. Caleb and Andrew's story was so incredibly sweet and loving, while at the same time I just wanted to smack them both sometimes for not realizing what was right in front of them. When they did figure it out, well, I was so thrilled that what they'd been looking for was right there waiting and they got the happy ever after they both deserved.
Vampire + wolf shifter = truly hawt, delicious fun. This book was so damn smexy, I may have needed a cold shower, or three. Miguel and Ethan are constantly on each other, licking, sucking, BITING. Plus, the romance factor was through the roof: knotting, mating, and blood bonding (blood, you all, so much blood). And MINE MINE MINE forever. ...Ethan and Miguel are an awesome couple. Ethan narrates this book in the first-person, and I loved his small-town, farm-boy persona. I giggled many times.
