I liked how these guys get together and how Kyle’s perception and treatment of Brent changes. Kyle comes across in a better light here, so by the end of the story I’d grown to like him. We are treated to a few of CC’s trademark steamy scenes.

Narrated by Robert M Clark, my first listen with this narrator but it won't be my last. I liked that he used different tones for the various characters...I liked the content, characters and the way any story CC writes pulls me in and holds my attention.

When I want sweet, sexy and satisfaction guaranteed it's never a hard choice if CC is involved and once again I got exactly what I wanted ...I have to put a big emphasis on the "sexy" this time. OH MY! I have to say, Jason and Abe sizzled between the sheets...and the dirty talk...WOWSER!!! ... Jason and Abe's story really encompasses the true meaning of the title of this series because this is a book all about family values and I loved how by finding his true family in Abe, Jason finally found himself and a way to reconnect and redeem himself with the people who he truly loved but couldn't fully give himself to. So CC has delivered again and I got my feel good fix with a side order of off the scale hawtness that could melt the buttons off a fireproof nightie!!

I have really enjoyed this entire series and this book was a perfect addition. Eli and Seth will quickly grab your hearts as they take you on their journey that spans over a decade....It was the perfect completion of their friendship and the start of their love affair. It was also the perfect way to end our stay in Emile City.

This is a sweet yet humorous story. The one-liners had me laughing out loud more than once. Initially I wasn't sure if Isaac deserved a second chance but as the story played out I found myself rooting for him. The characters are charming. The sex is hot as hell. The ending is perfect. A very good read.
