When you sign on to read a Cardeno C. novel, you are positive to get three things in return: first, a romance that is sweet and rewarding; second, a happy ever after that comes with very little angst or troubles; and third, a feel good emotional reward that leaves you smiling long after the novel’s end. Cardeno C. is a master at romance—sweet, sometimes sappy, yet always a complete story where boy meets boy, boy gets boy and they both live happily ever after....This author dares to create a happy ever after for an average guy, with an above average man who desires him. In the end, Not a Game becomes a magical fairytale romance that delivers all the feels and emotions with a twist—characters who are, for once, utterly real and worthy of love.
These two are so RIGHT for one another, I had a huge grin on my face the entire time I was reading this book.
Home Again is a very well-written love story between two amazing heroes that live and breathe off of the written page. It's earned a spot on my keeper shelf where I know I'll re-read it many, many times again... If you are looking for an emotionally driven novel that will leave you with a smile on your face, then Home Again is definitely the book for you. Highly Recommended!
A well-written and steadily-paced storyline that spans over a decade of time...I would highly recommend IN YOUR EYES to fans of the Mates Series as well as newcomers to Cardeno C.'s storytelling. While third in a series, it tells a complete story and can also be read as a standalone.
The way the love grows between the two main characters is sweet, but not overly so. There is some angst, some emotional drama, and a whole lot of growing up going on.
