McFarland’s Farm by Cardeno C. was a total feel-good story. I loved it from the moment I was introduced to the spoiled rich kid and to the pensive, yet friendly farmer. Cardeno C. has a style of writing that makes you fall in love with her characters and keeps you coming back for more.
Places In Time packs a punch with a well written plot, relatable characters, and passion that burns up the pages. It's well worth the read, over, and over again.
I loved the chemistry between Simon and Mitch, and watching two personalities that couldn't be more opposite slowly move towards middle ground warmed my heart.
Cleverly written and wonderfully portrayed another all round happy feeling story for the holiday period. This book is really about second chances and realizing your opportunities when they present themselves and grasping on to them. ... I enjoyed this story a lot. It has a strong message that life is too precious to throw away and you should enjoy every day and take joy in the things you have.
As per usual, Cardeno C writes a fun, engaging story with minimal fuss and no melodrama...The secondary characters are great and I fell in love with Angela, Jason's ex-wife. ... that is Cardeno C's style, isn't it? Writing fabulous relationships. Great pairings. The title fits this couple really well....Great addition to the series. Sexy addition to the series. Good, strong characters. Passion and sweetness all rolled together to form great reading pleasure…in every sense of the word. It is a standalone, so don't worry if you haven't read any of the preceding books, it makes no difference. Cardeno C does the "two-of-us-together-forever" really well. There is always a message and it is never preachy. Highly recommended reading.
