Their romance is like a slow burning fire on a cold night. Everything’s heating up perfectly! There’s medical issues and emotional drama that really moves the story along. This is pretty much a contemporary story about finding love in a small town. If you’re looking for super sweet and sexy, give Jesse’s Diner a read!

I really loved watching these two rediscover why they worked so well when they were a couple and also figuring out what came between them in the first place.  I loved these two so much, Richard likes being in control and Todd thrives on that.  Even though this book is on the shorter side and I finished in one sitting, it is one of those that I know I will be re-reading many times, like when I need a hug.  Just like most all of Cardeno’s books this is one I definitely recommend if you want something sweet, hot in that alpha male “just do what I say cause I know what is best for you” way.  You won’t regret it.

There is humour, , snark (more than usual), heartbreak , romance, steam and a sparkly HEA. In other words, this story has everything.

I am a huge fan of Cardeno's books, they are like hugs to me when I am having a bad day. Or a good day. And this one is no different, its sweet, with mild angst, HOT smexy times and a HEA that will leave you with a smile on your face.

This book finishes the Home Series by Cardeno C and I must say that I have loved every word in all seven books of this series! I normally don't ever read books written in the first person but I didn't really notice them in this series they are that well written. Throughout every book you are always kept abreast of what everyone from previous books are doing and that's what makes a fantastic series in my eyes! If you want a series of stories that interact with each other then grab yourself a copy of The Home Series Collection by Cardeno C, you will not be disappointed!!
