This for sure is a story about growth, acceptance, and of course romance. I loved the way Sal’s character turned things around in the end. I enjoyed this addition to this series and recommend all of them!

A really good, solid entry into a new shifter series... The mythology of shifters and their mating is not the same as in CC's Mates series, but all the hallmarks of a Cardeno C book are there...Watching Mitch and Simon learn each other, seeing Simon gradually accept that Mitch is different, and that he's attracted to him is the part of the story that made me love this book. I loved seeing the playful sides to both men once they opened up to each other. ..I am never let down by a CC book, the characters always fit the story, and they are always well written. There was nothing about this story that didn't work and I liked that CC made it different from the Mates series. I honestly can't recommend Blue Mountain enough.

Reg is just the right kind of laid back to calm Jeremy during his rants and smother the star in understanding and love, two ingredients missing in his chaotic life. At times they play off one another like Laurel and Hardy, their verbal interaction almost becoming a comedy routine....Reg also realizes that Jeremy has missed out on most of the simple pleasures of life and goes out of his way to provide them. Together they are a totally enjoyable and ultimately happy couple. Readers who want a book that will make them smile and bounce away from a story looking at the happy side of life will find this book a welcome relief from the angst in many gay romances.

"Every human being is made in the image of God and he makes no mistakes." LOVED Eli as soon as he showed up on the page. He made me laugh so hard I had tears in my eyes. And poor Seth had no idea how to handle it. Eli is young and brash and so eager to experience everything. His personality jumped off the pages and pulled you right in. Seth may have been a little more reserved but he was no less engaging. I loved the way that he tried to guide Eli but never tried to change him. The time that he took to figure out who "he" was, was authentic and believable. The uncertainty that he felt made sense. Watching these two build a friendship and grow together through that relationship was captivating and I could not put this book down. The author took me through the years of their lives and made them so real. One of the most beautiful books I have read, and also one of the funniest. I don't know the last time that I laughed so hard, from one catastrophe to the next. This book has everything you could ask for in a romance and then some. I could not recommend a better read if you are looking for something with a genuine, romantic feel.
