I have to admit this is probably now my favourite story by Cardeno C because for me it had all the vital elements fitting together in such a short story. 

If you want what I think is Cardeno C‘s specialty, a romance set in the real world, with characters that you can relate to, then this book is a great choice!

Even though this is a novella, the author manages to pack in plenty of feelings and steam into those short pages and it didn't feel rushed at all. All in all I thought this was another great story from CC!

This book is a beautiful balance of heartbreak, romance, eroticism, political intrigue, action and mystery. The story developed so well it did not drag once. It was lightly written (despite the events unfolding), making this a fast read. It's action packed scenes were not limited to the shifter battles and fights but instead extended deeper into shifter politics. Twists into the plot turned this unpredictable and very intriguing making it a harder read to put down ... this is definitely a must read. For those who have not read the first two books, it should really not be a problem, but it would mean missing out on a great series.

It's incredibly sad what parents do to their children with their phobias, bigotry and attitudes be they good or bad. It almost destroyed Ben trying to be everything to everyone. When he admitted it to himself and owned it that he was gay, that was when his life started to come together and he could live and breathe. I would recommend this book to all m/m romance story lovers.
