I really enjoyed this book.

KindleRomance: I really enjoyed this shifter romance filled with hurt, forgiveness and pack politics. ...My heart was breaking for each of them as the story unravels, but at the same time, the deep love these two had for each other made it very apparent that they could work through anything. These two strong characters, along with an interesting plot and the other members of the pack, kept the story flowing quickly. Being a part of their emotional reunion and watching them share their love with each other made for a passionate and touching romance.Karla says: Right from the beginning I was drawn into this sweet heartwarming story. Not only did I enjoy the chemistry and ensuing passion between Abel and Kai, I also enjoyed the overall family (pack) element and the support and wisdom they brought along with it. Abel might have been pack leader, but his mother stilled ruled the roost, and their exchanges had me chuckling. The love this family had for each other was quite evident throughout the read, as was the love between Abel and Kai. Two characters also worth a mention, Kelly and Bernie, feisty and fun!

I adored this. ADORED this. I loved how the author showed the immediate mating bond between the two, but also gave Simon reason not to believe in his own feelings. I loved how Mitch, the big Alpha wolf, the strong, silent protector, had a gentle and loving attitude toward Simon from the start, even though he was hurt when Simon, his mate, rejected him. He didn't give up, kept chipping away at the walls, slowly but surely. This is CC at the absolute best - a grandiose, romantic love story between two fated mates, without any contrived conflict, misunderstandings and other cliches we so often find in the books we read. It's the story of how one man quietly, persistently works his way into another man's heart, the mating bond working in his favor, but never taking choices away. As with all of CC's books, I was swept away by the wonderful, emotional writing, and closed this book with a sigh and a smile. Only Cardeno C. does this special brand of sweet, fluffy, fully satisfying romance.

I read and giggled and laughed out loud and sighed and awww'd and sniffled and smiled. ...Theirs was a journey of hope, faith and love. The writing draws you in from the start and never lets you go. It's engaging, honest and humorous, yet emotional when befitting the situation, and holy hot boysecks, Batman. The whole relationship with its slow burn is permeated by respect and friendship for each other, and a deep, abiding connection. Seth might have taken his time, but when he figures it out, it's full steam ahead. And Eli, persistent, a little hesitant but oh so sure of what he wants - simply a joy to behold... Humor abounds during the weddings Seth officiates, and there are plenty of sweet moments between him and Eli too. ... Highly recommended. Utterly beautiful.

Love at First Sight is a sweet story about finding love at first sight, then trying to actually locate the person, coming home, getting a second chance, and all that happens in between and after. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book.
