This was a wonderful story and the chemistry was off the charts.

Normally when I pick up a Cardeno C. story to read, I have a pretty good idea of what to expect. Normally there is a sweet love story. We either get a friends to lovers story, a second chance at love story, or a rocky road to happiness story. I have loved every single one I have read up to this point...I feel Cardeno C. has written a great story with Reg and Jeremy....Once Jeremy figures out his feelings for Reg, this turns into a no holds barred love affair. These two men seemed to just be made for one another. I loved how Reg just knew exactly what Jeremy needed, and he made sure to give it to him, and Jeremy could do the same for Reg. There was very little, if any, angst in this book, and I think I loved it more because of that. This was a very slow building romantic love story, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend this title, it really shouldn't be missed.

That being said, I still enjoyed reading it, just not quite so much as the others.

I adored this book....What impressed me most in this book is how much Samuel grew into himself and into his feelings, learning that book knowledge alone doesn't make a leader, and that compassion and understanding is often better than commanding and demanding. Loyalty is earned, as is respect. But Samuel also learns to open his heart, to listen to it more than his mind, and to trust in his mate....And CC has this special talent to infuse the holy hot boysecks, Batman scenes with so much emotion, so much heart, that I tend to feel like an unwelcome intruder watching them unfold. But I can't stop reading, either, because they make me choke up and sniffle as well. I've come to know to always have a box of tissues ready when reading one of CC's books. ... Fully fleshed out characters, excellent side characters (friend or foe), and an engaging, nicely flowing plot - what's not to love?

This is a fabulous audio book, one that I will listen to again and again. A keeper. Go and grab your copy.
