A very sweet, loving and strong friendship ... We see how they've touched each other's lives over the years and how their relationship grows. It was very natural and their friendship felt genuine. It was easy to believe in their deep feelings for each other. The existing friendship made their HEA that much sweeter. ... Whew. Cardeno C. knows how to write those sex scenes. Eli and Seth were way hot together and I loved how outgoing Seth became once he and Eli were together. I love this entire series and would recommend it to any M/M reader. They're sweet, romantic and a make for a nice, easy comfort read. They're really great on audio, too, for you audiobook listeners.

This story is part of a series and can be read in any order. This is a brilliant story that tells us the tale of Miguel and Ethan who we met briefly in Wake Me Up Inside. ... Miguel and Ethan are wonderful characters, Ethan with his simple needs and plain words and Miguel with his badass attitude and need to protect Ethan. I can't tell you how much I adored Ethan and his easy attitude, his willingness to forgive others and how he wraps Miguel around his little finger without even trying. I loved Miguel's take no crap attitude and how, when he accepted his feelings for Ethan, he would do anything for him even when it goes against what he wants to do. I loved the easy storyline that has just a smidge of danger and the sex is hot and they are made for each other in every way, it just warms you up seeing them together. The storyline is great and we learn a lot more about the world the paranormals live in, when they were even further removed from humanity and when the animosity between vampires and shifters was high. This story is an easy read with just a touch of danger from jealous vampires, Ethan and Miguel are this story, their coming together, being perfect for each other and providing just what the other needs, both of them helping to save the pack even when they turn their back on Ethan and the discovery…

Please note that previous characters don't play a role so it can be read as a standalone. ...There's lots of vivid imagery in this well written and paced story ... There's plenty of emotion and angst, and the danger and betrayal is woven throughout the last half which keeps the pages turning. There are several twists, and we even learn a little more about pack history, which I enjoyed.

Themeatticly, this is a story about coming out, which is kind of tired and over used, but I loved this version. Ben is very introspective throughout the story, but his self-depreciating humor makes it very entertaining. He often speaks to you, the reader, in a most endearing way. Micah was such a wonderful character. Strong and steady. And what made him so wonderful was that he melted into such a lover at just the right times. There is plenty of erotic sex in the book, but it never seemed gratuitous. It always just seemed fit the flow of the story as both men learned to love and feel comfortable with themselves and with each other. Perhaps the funniest character was Micah's mom. What a hoot! Micah's depiction of talking on the phone was hysterical. And then when you meet her, she's just as funny. The perfect Jewish mother!

Wow, just wow! I love all of Cardeno C. stories, but Strange Bedfellows is my favorite now and one of my top reads of the year for sure.
