Following a tried and tested plan by Cardeno, no major breaks ups and make ups, but an added extra chapter since the original was released. Loving these extra bits, and they just all finish off each other. A beautiful story, it really is.

The characters are so believable and well developed that it is easy to imagine them in real life. The story is so endearing that you cannot help but root for the men to find their ever after.

Ahhh, Cardeno C. has produced another sweet and sexy love story with wonderfully characters you can't help loving. ... I loved this story, it made me feel all sweet and gooey and sappy *sigh*. Spencer's and Emilio's relationship develops quickly with Emilio being sensitive enough to see Spencer's invisible scars, he is patient and supportive but he doesn't let it ruin his and Spencer's fun in the least. Spencer seems to be a very gentle soul and Emilio helps him to broaden his experiences and to give him the support he doesn't know he needs, together they make a fantastic sweet couple who you adore. ... I recommend this to those who love sweet sexy love stories, putting the past firmly in the past, some hot sexy scenes, squishing the ex and a delightful ending.

I found the novel to be a super enjoyable, modern, thought-provoking take on the evolution of a relationship between two adults, both of whom bring their own characters, problems, and, sometimes selfish, needs to the table.... the characterization and style of writing really draw you into the story, making it a thoroughly enjoyable and absorbing read. In Jason and Abe, Cardeno C. has created two characters you care about from the get go, while the witty banter, hot sex scenes and the depiction of their everyday domestic life make you really believe and support them as a couple.
