The chemistry between Jason and Abe is hot. The sex is off the charts. It's sweet and funny. Such an enjoyable read. ... The author manages to get under the skin of the characters and give us such exquisite insight into their feelings, that it is difficult not to become part of the story.... There were some wonderful moments of humour, some moments of pure lust, some of deep emotion. Great storytelling.

Like always, the heart and soul of this engaging love story is the chemistry and connection that CC always manages to portray beautifully between it's two MC's. The sexual tension crackles as you're drawn into their battle of wills and the pull/push nature of their relationship. ....What I love about all Cardeno's shifter series are that they're just so easy to read. Enjoyable because they're all about getting lost in the story, caught up in the romance and living the happy ever after. The perfect story to curl up with when you've had a stressful day and all you want to do is wind down. The sex is hot, the stories are sweet and you always know that you'll end with a smile and a sigh of contentment. What more can you ask for. This is a really sexy romance that was, pardon my language, a fuck fest the whole way through. The story was a good one even though Jonathan was painfully sweet at times but he was believable as a painfully shy man who was very easily led. When I read the blurb on this book I was expecting a saccharine story that would make my teeth curl but what I got was a really hot story of a single farther trying to make a go of life and holding out for love. What's not to love about that.
