When I read To Touch You, I didn’t realise it was part of an established series, so I can honestly say that it can be read as a stand-alone novel despite being the fourth book in the Mates Collection.
No major fall outs, misunderstandings, or life changing decisions, written in a way only CC knows how, and has mastered in a way others should take note. Its not necessary for the characters to fall out and mess up, sometimes, just getting from A to B is story enough, IF IF IF its told well. Told from both men's point of view, we get an insight into them both, which I really LOVE, mostly, because I like to know whats going on, from everyone.
If you are a lover of paranormal and the gay genre this is definitely the book for you....It's hard not to feel such emotion in your heart while reading.
a sweet love story, definitely some drama which is handled well, and an overall realistic story. ...I'm literally a passenger on these pages watching how their love story began, how it progressed, how it was perfect, how it imploded, and how it all came back together. It was a hell of a ride. I adored this story and am so glad that I read it. Thank you, Cardeno, for giving me another story to love and re-read.
fantastic characters, a sweet story with lots of heart, family at it's core, surprisingly sexy-as-hell steam which was so much hotter than I expected, hilarious banter, and just a beautiful love story. ...These two were just perfect together, they balanced the other out and just completed each other.
