It was nice seeing the characters from the other stories in this series hang out together, especially when they discussed David's love life. This was a very low angst story with lots of steamy sex, romantic dates, and some nice dialog. These two really care for each other and don't play games. ... I was tearing up at the end with happy feelings. ... Overall, I really enjoyed this beautiful romance between two sexy and kind people who both proved that love can happen at first sight.
I loved this book! ... The characters are adorable and sexy, sweet and passionate, and did I mention sexy? Right. Emilio is just one of those characters I couldn't help but love. He is tall, dark and handsome. Sexy and confident, without being arrogant. ... Spencer is a sweet, shy, intelligent college math professor and very innocent in some ways even though he is thirty-eight years old and has been in relationships before. ... I loved how Emilio tuned into Spencer's discomfort and talks about the repairs and renovations that Spencer wants to do to his home, to help him relax. ... I loved Emilio's family, his brothers are a hoot and I enjoyed the dynamics between them. ... While reading this book, I laughed, had teary moments, felt angry (Peter) but over all it made me very happy. It is a lovely, sweet, feel good romance that touched my heart with characters I thoroughly enjoyed.
The journey that these two men take towards understanding each other is beautifully written. The characters are well fleshed out and the dialog flows smoothly from one page to the next.
Abe is exactly what Jase needs to get his head on straight and get his life in order. I love the fact that they just fit each other so perfectly, even though on the surface, they may seem worlds apart.
