I really enjoyed this sweet romance. ...The relationship develops over a realistic timeframe and the love was sweet and real and they both had this need for each other which was lovely to witness.

I have read every book in this series and let me just say Cardeno C. did not disappoint on this one. This author truly has a way with her words that not only excite you but also leave you feeling really good. There isn't a whole lot of drama or angst in any of these books in this series but one thing you can certainly count on is that there is plenty of steamy scenes to wet anyone's appetite. ...The respect and desire these men have for one another really was captivating. I loved experiencing their day to day struggles and having a bird's eye view watching them overcome their fears and issues. Jason is a very complicated man, he's was married before and has two children. So being able to see how he struggles with his responsibilities and becoming comfortable with being who he really is was very endearing to watch. He comes across as an arrogant man, he's controlling and he has a bit of a temper but I think that truly enhanced his appeal. He is not a man of many words but you could really feel how much he opened up to Abe in ways he never thought was possible. Abe is nothing but amazing. He's supportive, patient and willing to do anything to keep Jason happy and grounded. I enjoyed this book so much. It's the first book in what is going to be a fantastic series. Blue Mountain is sensitive, sweet and loving. Full of family, drama and wolf shifters. Cardeno C has once again created a world that we will all want to visit, full of characters who we grow to care for and wish to know.

This story was a delight to read - whether it was the hot and smexy bedroom/kitchen/living room scenes or whether it was a lunch date with Jason's ex-wife, the intensity of the emotions was there all the way. You laughed when they laughed, you felt your heart twinge at Jason's cluelessness as he tries to find his way in the dark and do the 'right' thing. You will probably be amazed (as I was) with Abe's quiet strength and how he knows which battles to fight and which to leave.

The combination of Cardeno C's magnificent writing style and Paul Morey's delightful narration skills turned this into a very epic love story. I would actually call this the PERFECT dose of romance and heartbreaking revelations that one as a bookworm deserves. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
