This is one of the most well written and diversely characterized Shifter series you can read, in my humble opinion. With each new installment, more of the Shifter world reveals itself. The people, the laws and the stubborn, unyielding beliefs some of them refuse to let go of. I love the way CC weaves the different stories together. This book and the storyline ties directly into the other three books and perhaps gives details and information you were wanting from those books. But mostly, it's a love story about two men, both stubborn as hell, but also loyal to a fault.

Perfect Imperfections is a very sweet and no angst story, and there is a bit of a mystery which kept things interesting. The build-up to the more smexy scenes was nice and made the payoff that more delicious. ...There are so hilarious moments, specially with Jeremy which made for solid romcom fare. Reggie and Jeremy's dance around each other was done well, there was a lot of tension without getting frustrated. Reggie and Jeremy were so dear, those two were certainly smittlen. ...I liked this one, will probably pick it up again when I need light read with cuteness and smexy.

KindleRomance: I really enjoyed this shifter romance filled with hurt, forgiveness and pack politics. ...My heart was breaking for each of them as the story unravels, but at the same time, the deep love these two had for each other made it very apparent that they could work through anything. These two strong characters, along with an interesting plot and the other members of the pack, kept the story flowing quickly. Being a part of their emotional reunion and watching them share their love with each other made for a passionate and touching romance.Karla says: Right from the beginning I was drawn into this sweet heartwarming story. Not only did I enjoy the chemistry and ensuing passion between Abel and Kai, I also enjoyed the overall family (pack) element and the support and wisdom they brought along with it. The love this family had for each other was quite evident throughout the read, as was the love between Abel and Kai. Two characters also worth a mention, Kelly and Bernie, feisty and fun!

Home Again is part of Cardeno C.'s Home series. It's a beautiful story of two men who meet at an early age and depend on each other when they have no one else. It's a fourteen-year journey through Noah and Clark's lives. ...There is just not enough good things to say about Home Again. It is a book that I've read more than once and will probably read again. In fact the series is one of my all-time favorites. I highly recommend Home Again by Cardeno C.

There are not many books that can get to me in so few pages, it takes a very talented author to make 80 pages feel like 300. This is a very creative twist to It's a Wonderful Life and I enjoyed the unique timeline shifts in the story. Shiloh and Travis are two very likeable characters and it didn't take me long to become invested in their lives. This will be a holiday story that I will read every year if for no other reason than to remind myself how important the choices we make in life are to so many people. If you like your holiday stories short and beautifully emotional than In Another Life should be in your library!
