Cardeno C never bores me with her witty writing and charm. To Touch You was a wonderful culmination to a very well developed and written series
I have read this book a few times already, it's definitely one of my favourite comfort reads! When I saw Ezekiel Robison had done the narration for it I got my grabby little hands all over it! There was no way this could be bad, amazing narrator and romantic story, sign me up!
Jason's journey was so powerful, in the end he knows he wants Abe in his life ...in the end the way Jason folds Abe into his family, the family Jason wasn't sure he would ever have was powerfully poignant. Jason learned that family is about love; the kind of love that grabs your heart, makes your toes tingle, and is all encompassing...this story warmed my heart, touched my soul and made me believe in love!
Stylistically unique and deeply emotional ... It was more than a book, it was a sweeping emotional journey through time and across two very different cultures and I thoroughly enjoyed it. ... With touches of gut-clenching angst, gentle humor, and searing passion, the path of Zev and Jonah's romance is fraught with a myriad conflicts and hazards both internal and external that were woven together into a very powerful read.
There are not many books that can get to me in so few pages, it takes a very talented author to make 80 pages feel like 300. This is a very creative twist to It's a Wonderful Life and I enjoyed the unique timeline shifts in the story. Shiloh and Travis are two very likeable characters and it didn't take me long to become invested in their lives. This will be a holiday story that I will read every year if for no other reason than to remind myself how important the choices we make in life are to so many people. If you like your holiday stories short and beautifully emotional than In Another Life should be in your library!
