To Touch You Reviews

All About Romance

When I read To Touch You, I didn’t realise it was part of an established series, so I can honestly say that it can be read as a stand-alone novel despite being the fourth book in the Mates Collection.

Very much a Cardeno C book, with very little angst or drama save Kyle losing his job and his home. I loved the way Kyle didn't like Brent very much because of what he thought he represented. Loved that Kyle didn't like how Brent made him feel, with out Brent even knowing it. Loved that last line!! I think I might go back and READ this one at some point.

Night Owl Book Reviews

“To Touch You” by Cardeno C is an interesting twist on the forbidden love theme in multiple dimensions. Not only is there the crossing of the taboo line between shifters and vampires, there is Sal’s initial condition which makes him even more of an anathema, plus the rejection of the bond complicates things considerably. I love seeing how things start with foreshadowing of Yoram’s future role as he is calm and firm even at such a young age. It was fun watching him grow into the predictions for his future and I ached at his determination to care for his mate.

TTC Books & More

This is one of the most well written and diversely characterized Shifter series you can read, in my humble opinion. With each new installment, more of the Shifter world reveals itself. The people, the laws and the stubborn, unyielding beliefs some of them refuse to let go of. I love the way CC weaves the different stories together. This book and the storyline ties directly into the other three books and perhaps gives details and information you were wanting from those books. But mostly, it's a love story about two men, both stubborn as hell, but also loyal to a fault.

This world that Cardeno C has created is as flawed as real life, but she finds a way to make it a better place.
