I liked the narration as much as the story itself. Both voices were different, and I felt uplifted by the way the plot unfolded, and that is due in part, to the narrator, Robert M. Clark. Of course, it most certainly is mostly due to the inimitable style and romantic imagination of Cardeno C. But the two together make a great story better. If you like shifter stories, consider this one. It’s just a few hours long but packed a lot of pleasure into my day so I’m happy to recommend it.

Vampire + wolf shifter = truly hawt, delicious fun. This book was so damn smexy, I may have needed a cold shower, or three. Miguel and Ethan are constantly on each other, licking, sucking, BITING. Plus, the romance factor was through the roof: knotting, mating, and blood bonding (blood, you all, so much blood). And MINE MINE MINE forever. ...Ethan and Miguel are an awesome couple. Ethan narrates this book in the first-person, and I loved his small-town, farm-boy persona. I giggled many times.

Even though this is a novella, the author manages to pack in plenty of feelings and steam into those short pages and it didn't feel rushed at all. All in all I thought this was another great story from CC!

Walk With Me is a beautiful story to close out The Home Series Journey. This is a story of knowing who you love and standing by that, regardless to what others think or feel. ... This story develops and grows over the next 13 or so years. ... Eli backs off the seduction routine and just enjoys Seth for what he is, his best friend. ... Cardeno is, without a doubt, one of the best authors in this genre. ...The humor and funny moments just roll off their tongue and before you know it, you are laughing out loud at their banter back and forth. They soak up the pages with their joy and love for each other. The plot flows effortlessly, even though the story develops over several years, allowing the reader to follow along seamlessly. Each book can stand alone, but it is a little extra special if you have read the others as some of the older characters make an appearance. I am so impressed with the author's ability to take each character and show the growth of maturity that each one has developed over time. ...I highly recommend this story to anyone whether a new reader to C. Cardeno or a loyal follower. You do not want to miss out on a truly feel good, down to your bones, love story.
