Can I just say O.M.G. Cardeno took a concept that should never have worked and not only made it work, but made it work well. ... There are some very touching moments that we can all remember from our youth ... some will pull on your heart strings; some will make you so ANGRY you want to scream; and some will make you laugh so loudly you will disturb anyone within a mile radius of you while you are reading them. But what they all do is tell the love story these three men share over two decades. They all end up going their own way, but fate has a way of making decisions for us that we would never have expected. This isn't the average M/M/M story. In my opinion, this is a very unique take on the concept and it just works. ... I think this is one of Cardeno C.'s best works, and I have never laughed as hard as I did while reading the scene about the lentils. That was just brilliant! If you have liked Cardeno's work in the past, I think you will love this one. I know I did.

These are fictional characters, I know that, but they are so REAL! The plot is romance, it is mushy, it sent me to the 'awwwwwww' land and yet, it developed in such a way that was unrushed and oh, so romantic! The erotic scenes (**fanningmyselfsilly**) was a rush I am still blushing. That Jason ~ he is one naughty, naughty MAN!!!! WHEW!!! As for the rest of it? Well, let me just say: FAN YOURSELF SILLY AND LAUGH YOUR HEARTS OUT! Romantic as heck! Funny it sent me to tears. And smiling so goofy, it really hurts!

You can't go wrong with this riveting page turner with true love, a suspenseful plot, wonderful dialogue, vampires, shifters, and steamy hot sex. I couldn't put it down, and I'm anxiously awaiting the next book in the series!

What followed was a story of healing, letting go and learning to trust once again. .... I loved Chase! He was adorably, sweet, quirky and a hell of all lot of fun. .... Hell yeah, Cardeno C came through for me, yet again! .... I appreciated that Cardeno didn't just wrap it all up with a pretty bow. Nope, Cardeno made all of them work through their issues until they could move forward. ...As a fan of Cardeno C this book was everything I was expecting and as a hopeless romantic this story brought about the tears, the smiles and the "awww" moments I've come to expect from a fantastic romance.

Their story was a give and take, when one needed the other was there and vice versa. I loved seeing how open and honest Abe was and how willing he was to do things just because he was trusting his gut. Jason never knew what hit him. He saw someone he wanted and went after him even though he didn't understand his reasoning at the time. He didn't hide away from his wants and he too trusted his gut to know what he wanted. Great Read!
