The first thing i loved about this story is Oliver. For once a normal guy!!! He's overweight and insecure but he's just gorgeous!! I love how awkward he is. Then the second thing i loved. Jamie! He's a six pack wielding hottie and he fancies the pants off Oliver!! Perfect the pair of them! The third thing. The sweet lovely story-line... awwwwww i wanted to be there every step of the way with them watching dreamily from the sidelines! I felt every ounce of love between them and it made my heart swell! Truly beautiful!
Love at First Sight is a sweet story about finding love at first sight, then trying to actually locate the person, coming home, getting a second chance, and all that happens in between and after. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book.
Walk With Me is a beautiful story to close out The Home Series Journey. This is a story of knowing who you love and standing by that, regardless to what others think or feel. ... This story develops and grows over the next 13 or so years. ... Eli backs off the seduction routine and just enjoys Seth for what he is, his best friend. ... Cardeno is, without a doubt, one of the best authors in this genre. ...The humor and funny moments just roll off their tongue and before you know it, you are laughing out loud at their banter back and forth. They soak up the pages with their joy and love for each other. The plot flows effortlessly, even though the story develops over several years, allowing the reader to follow along seamlessly. Each book can stand alone, but it is a little extra special if you have read the others as some of the older characters make an appearance. I am so impressed with the author's ability to take each character and show the growth of maturity that each one has developed over time. ...I highly recommend this story to anyone whether a new reader to C. Cardeno or a loyal follower. You do not want to miss out on a truly feel good, down to your bones, love story. There are moments where love is expressed so passionately that you are holding your breath for fear of missing something. ...This is storytelling in the…
I started this book last night and was awake way past my bedtime because I just could not put it down. The meeting between Jonah and Zev as toddler and pup had to be one of the sweetest beginnings I have ever read. Their courtship, which neither realized was happening, was endearing and drew me into the the story so quickly I couldn't believe how quickly I cared about these two people. I always know it's a good book when I find myself talking to the characters. I was so frustrated with what the separation was doing to both Zev and Jonah that I was yelling, "Just tell him already" a couple of different times. A very unique premise and a story that was wonderful and sexy to read.
I think one of my favorite things about this book was how it felt in relation to the first book in the Family series. This book was beautiful. It was sweet and delicious. I loved both Spencer and Emilio from the first page to the last . If you are looking for angst and drama go back and read book one, Something In the Way He Needs, and you will be get all the hard angst you crave. If you want the story of two men who learn to love and accept each other, than Strong enough is the book for you. The way Cardeno made these two books feel completely different is intriguing. ... This book is special. It made me feel so happy. There are sad moments and struggles and these men both have to grow and adapt and learn how to be more than they ever knew they could be, but sweet mercy, the journey was beautiful.
