I think the chemistry between them was great and the sex scenes were both hot and sweet
Loved, Loved, Loved this book! It was the perfect quick read and hit all my squishy feelings.....Two strong men with healthy sex drives and a weekend of nakedness!
The best thing about this book is how it's told over time. ... I loved watching Andrew and Caleb grow up, explore life and become men... I really enjoyed this complete look at these two characters' lives and how they loved and supported each other through it all, large and small. ... MM readers who enjoy a good erotic romance will adore Andrew and Caleb. They have a chemistry that leaps off the page from the time they first notice each other sexually and continues the entire book. Andrew enjoys body modification and this will delight MM readers as it did me. Unlike some authors who write good erotic interludes but not emotional intimacy, this author deftly combines both. The characters' emotional connection is just as tangible as their sexual chemistry.
This is a really sexy romance that was, pardon my language, a fuck fest the whole way through. The story was a good one even though Jonathan was painfully sweet at times but he was believable as a painfully shy man who was very easily led. When I read the blurb on this book I was expecting a saccharine story that would make my teeth curl but what I got was a really hot story of a single farther trying to make a go of life and holding out for love. What's not to love about that.
How we see our lives is really just a collection of impressions seen from our viewpoint, not how events actually unfold. Usually we don't get a chance to explore how right or wrong our impressions are, but go through the years believing what we think happened is true. But what if our impressions are skewed? Cardeno explores this idea in a nifty little novella that has the protagonist reevaluate his life from someone else's perspective. ... This delightful premise and the ensuing untangling of memories could be a study in strum und drang, but Cardeno approaches it with a deft hand and a light touch, making the story one of those "awwwww" moments in reading.... Cardeno's story is a little gem that will tickle even the most jaded readers and brighten their day.
