I loved the relationship that Jeremy and Reg had. Reg was his protector in many ways....Jeremy was cute and adorable and so naive at times...It was fun to watch these two form their friendship. ...The two of them were so perfect together. This was a really cute, light fun read.
I absolutely ADORED these guys. ...They're a very cute couple... I really loved the fact that this was such a slow burn romance. At first, they're just friends. ...This story had a really nice, slow pace to it that fit the characters and their relationship well. It wasn't about sex for them but instead about love. It was so sweet!...I adored the characters and their slow development from friends to lovers. By the end of the story, I felt like I knew them. This is a sweet, slow-burn romance that is just that… a romance. It was light and funny in some places and just heavy enough in others but most of all, it was engaging and had a nice flow to it. I already feel the urge to re-read it!!
There is a lot of depth of character in this book that made me want to turn the pages and want more. I like how they learn to be friends and lovers… There is a lot about trusting yourself and letting yourself be who you really are. That and the great storyline makes this book one for the keeper shelves. Highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a different kind of shifter story you can fall in love with.
There are so many words that I would like to utter but they mainly consist of Ohhhh Ahhhh sweet and cute, and *sigh* soooo romantic. We are given a true treat with this wonderful holiday story that shows the despair of a young man who feels he doesn't have anything to cling to. It then takes us on a journey to a possible future that he would miss out on and then we are treated to a sweet ending when the course of the future is changed with Shiloh's knowledge and his actions. The love that is discovered first in the future and then in the present is incredibly sweet but also passionate, a meeting of soul mates who are meant to be whether in the future or in the present..... Ah, there are so many wonderful and bittersweet moments in this story .... I recommend this to those who love stories of a love that was meant to be, incredible characters, a story that draws out your emotions with ease and a story that brings family together.
It's a fun and entertaining book with a steady pace, a surprising amount of tenderness, considering Miguel's bad-ass attitude at the beginning, and some vivid world building. Both Miguel and Ethan have well developed personalities and they blend together nicely as a couple - and their chemistry - it's sizzling. There are several seamlessly placed secondary characters but I enjoyed Ethan's sweet sister, Crissy, the most. That's not to say a number of those other characters don't supply some needed action and danger - so watch out for troublemakers.
