I liked the narration as much as the story itself. Both voices were different, and I felt uplifted by the way the plot unfolded, and that is due in part, to the narrator, Robert M. Clark. Of course, it most certainly is mostly due to the inimitable style and romantic imagination of Cardeno C. But the two together make a great story better. If you like shifter stories, consider this one. It’s just a few hours long but packed a lot of pleasure into my day so I’m happy to recommend it.
I have two reactions I flip flop between when reading Cardeno C. I'm either saying "D'aawww!" or "Holy shit, that's hot." Happens every time.
The story and the narration are equally well done, conveyed and expressed. Passionate, sexy, entrancing and effortless. Definitely a must listen. I’ll keep this one on my I-pod for many a return visit with these two Strange Bedfellows.
I enjoyed this story of two men who have grown up in politics and find themselves falling for one another despite their outward differences.
The attraction these two opposite men have towards each other lights the pages on fire. The kind of desire that you fear will flame fast and burn out. But Jared doesn't burn out. He knows how to kindle that lust filled flame into a love and commitment that will burn for a lifetime, and that left me breathless and happy.
