I absolutely LOVED Red River! This book totally rocks! The world building is stellar and unique. ... builds the relationship slowly and with great emotion just makes this book one of my all time favorites and a definite re-read. If you love shifter romance, love m/m romance, and having the focus be on building the relationship, as well as the world it lives in, then you will love Red River! 

I read and giggled and laughed out loud and sighed and awww'd and sniffled and smiled. ...Theirs was a journey of hope, faith and love. The writing draws you in from the start and never lets you go. It's engaging, honest and humorous, yet emotional when befitting the situation, and holy hot boysecks, Batman. The whole relationship with its slow burn is permeated by respect and friendship for each other, and a deep, abiding connection. Seth might have taken his time, but when he figures it out, it's full steam ahead. And Eli, persistent, a little hesitant but oh so sure of what he wants - simply a joy to behold... Humor abounds during the weddings Seth officiates, and there are plenty of sweet moments between him and Eli too. ... Highly recommended. Utterly beautiful.

I really enjoyed this sweet romance. ...The relationship develops over a realistic timeframe and the love was sweet and real and they both had this need for each other which was lovely to witness.

When I am in the mood for a fun, entertaining romance one of my favorite authors to go to is Cardeno C. The characters are witty, vibrant, sweet and sexy. ...I loved Reggie. He is an awesome character. He is calm, friendly, self-assured and easy going. ...I really enjoyed Perfect Imperfections....The story is angst free, with very likeable characters. The camaraderie between Jeremy and Reg is immediate but their friendship really develops when they go on tour together. The more they are together, the more Jeremy looks to Reg for comfort and support and Reg is wonderful in that role. The friendship to romance is slow to develop but evolves at a nice pace, and once they make the decision to take it to a more intimate level – it is hot. ...If you are looking for a light, sweet, romantic story this would be one I would recommend.

It is really a nice slow build for their relationship. I liked the pacing of the story. The slow burn and desire that becomes all-consuming and almost debilitating as the years pass. It makes the union that much sweeter when it finally happens. Cardeno C just has a way of weaving a story that pulls the reader in and washes them in love and warmth. Zev and Jonah are hot as hell between the sheets and sweet as honey out of them.
