This was such a good story. Two men who have been there for each other so much so that they miss that there is more to their relationship than either of them even realize.
I enjoyed this story so much. It was so hard to put down because I just had to know how things were going to end up for the two men.

Blue Mountain is a love story, hands down. ... the story is so very well written, with pathos and intimacy, that even the most hard hearted of us will no doubt sigh with satisfaction at seeing these two men fall in love. If you are looking for a sweet tale of romance and healing, Blue Mountain by Cardeno C. is the novel for you.

The incredibly strong emotions throughout this whole story kept me from wanting to put the book down. The author did a magnificent job of making the emotions--from anger to depression to lust--leap off the page with the characters. The story went from being sweet and innocent... to desperate and angry...The other component of the book that was written exceptionally well was the relationships. In a short amount of time, I could feel how important the friendship between Kai and Abel's parents was and how upset Abel's parents were to lose their friends. There is a fierce and protective relationship between Kai and Kelly, and a fun and honest relationship between Abel and his brothers. Abel also has a dynamic relationship with his parents. And, of course, the relationship between Abel and Kai that spans the entire spectrum of emotions. This was a very fulfilling story that contained love, heartache, bitterness, hatred, revenge, humor, and forgiveness.

It packs a sweet punch and I loved every single word. Emilio and Spencer are simply wonderful together. For all it's sweetness, the characters and dialogue are beautifully written. ... I found myself smiling a lot feeling the happiness both men felt as they took their journey to love. The supporting characters brought more treats to the party insisting we all have a good time. I had a wonderful time getting to know these special men and I thank the author for inviting me along. This was a lovely romance, sexy, sweet and all that comes with. As always with a Cardeno C book, I look forward to more.

When I started reading this book, I had no idea how hot it would be! ...The bond these two men form is pretty special and particularly unique considering their preferred life style is not prevelent in most of society. Likewise, the book also makes a point to point out that Daniel, while a lovely submissive man that finds joy and pleasure in taking care of Asher, is far from a defenseless whipping boy; if the occasion arrises and his limits are crossed, he is both willing and capable of taking care of himself. Bonus points to CC for that! I might also add that the sex was pretty damn hot. ...For anyone with a kinkier bone in their body, this is going to be a great read!
