I wrote this flash fic for Boy Meets Boy Reviews featuring the characters in Wake Me Up Inside. Enjoy! - CC

I truly loved this latest Cardeno C. story of shifters, werewolves, and true mates,
I cheered these two men on, loving Korban’s strength of conviction as he shows Samuel how to connect to himself and his pack and once they are working together, they are a force to be reckoned with.
Review: I am not normally a huge fan of the short story, but I think Cardeno C. has absolutely nailed it with All of Me...I simply love good second chance love stories, and this was a fabulous example of one. Not only is the love these two share palpable, but it was enduring and beautiful. I can't recommend this one enough.
From hookup to commitment, what started out as two men, attracted to each other on a very casual level, slowly became much more. ...I really enjoyed the family element here – the emotion and the evolution of Jason and Abe together, as well as that with the kids, and even Angela as a unit. Their interactions and love for one another... created much-needed emotional connection and depth for me. Jason's struggles and regrets as a workaholic father felt real and sad, but simultaneously set Jason and Abe on that more permanent path. And sweet Abe, he's just that character that you can't help but love, for his personality, commitment and for what he wants out of life and love.... a feel good story of two opposites creating something beautiful together. Well done.
My love for a good angsty read aside, I've found that the thing I like best about Cardeno C.'s stories is that the couples easily connect and have wonderful chemistry....This book touched me. I'm not sure if it was the sweet friendship, the sense that these two were meant for each other or the fact that their families and friends were so supportive and loving, but I was all in almost from the moment I read the first page. The wedding announcements that preface each chapter were amusing and I adored how the author used them to inject humor and set the theme throughout the book....Walk With Me is the seventh book in the Home series, but can easily be read as a stand-a-lone. I haven't read the rest of the series and I had no problem following along. If the thought of reading through the whole series to get to this one feels a bit daunting, I thinks it's safe to just skip ahead and pick this one up.
