The relationship between these two men is incredible. They share humorous and emotional moments that put this story over-the-top. 

Can a vampire and a shifter, supposedly mortal enemies, become each other's soul mate and savior? ... Ethan is such a lovely character. He's a bit insecure after spending his life unable to shift, making him an outcast in his pack. However, he had the unconditional love of his family, especially his sister, allowing him to value himself and making him determined to hold unto his mate after finding him. Miguel is extremely old, powerful, and smart. ... It was absolutely adorable how jealous and protective each of these men were of the other. The epilogue was perfect, answering some questions from the first story and giving us a solid feeling of forever for Ethan and Miguel. You can't go wrong with this riveting page turner with true love, a suspenseful plot, wonderful dialogue, vampires, shifters, and steamy hot sex. I couldn't put it down, and I'm anxiously awaiting the next book in the series!

This story spanned two decades, and Cardeno C did an amazing job blending large stretches of time as well as alternating POV. The story was simultaneously light and weighty, with CC bringing us fun and humorous moments, but balancing that with serious relationship issues, and even a little bit of heartache. For me, the strongest part of this book was the narration. The way Charlie/Chase tells his story, while engaging the reader at the same time, was a joy to read. I really fell in love with Charlie's character, and admired the way he was comfortable with who he was, and how he gave his whole heart to those that he loved. He's spunky, charming, and caring, and I have no doubt that anyone who reads this book will want to be his best friend....Sassy, steamy, and even a little silly, More Than Everything really was a joy to read.

Ahhhhh, bliss! This was the perfect story for my mood. I wanted something light with just a touch of angst, a lot of sweetness and on the shorter side. ...The characters are sad in the beginning, heart-breaking even, with Abel miserable and dwelling on the fact that he doesn't have his mate and never will. When you meet Kai, he's so broken that he can't even shift out of his wolf form. He heals quickly, though, once he's by Abel's side and flourishes into the alpha that he is supposed to be. ... I adored the characters, and while Kai's recovery may be a bit fast for some, I won't deny that I enjoyed his quick turnaround. I loved the concept of two alphas bonded together and before they're born too!

Another sexy, hot, sweet and incredibly poignant story from one of my favorite M/M authors, Cardeno C. This is a perfect book for any reader who might be new to the M/M genre and would like to "get their toes wet" so to speak. McFarland's Farm is a novella but it is yummy, filled with emotion, and oh yeah, some totally scorching hot sex scenes. The scenes between Jared and Lucas are also filled with warmth and yes, love, and I felt a deeper connection to these two delicious characters than I did in many books 4 times the length of this story....It was absolutely wonderful and I loved these two characters. I definitely recommend this book for all M/M fans and even for readers who don't normally try this genre. It's fantastic!
