I just adore this story; it’s a feel good, slightly sexy story to enjoy on the beach, in the airport, on the sofa or just relaxing in the garden.

I absolutely loved this amazing story! ...I loved seeing their relationship develop slowly while they really got to know each other. ...Reg really understood Jeremy and was able to truly support him so he could focus on his music. Reg was extremely patient and helped Jeremy mature in his behavior. The build up to their first hot sex scene together was so intense and emotional. I liked the way we saw time pass by so the strengthening of their relationship made sense. Throw in a little mystery about somebody leaking information to the press, and I had a story that I couldn't put down. My favorite thing about books by this author is that he spends the time to fully develop both the characters and the relationship. If you haven't read the author's work before, this is a great starting point, since it's not part of a series.

I love the way Cardeno C spins a tale. Even a short story like this one was so beautifully told.

Oooh, I just loved this one you guys! ...What is so wonderful about The Half of Us is the way author Cardeno C really elevates the story beyond just this fears commitment/wants a relationship dynamic in a way that makes for a fascinating story and wonderful characters. ...Jason doesn't see a future for himself with anyone long term and it never occurs to him he can have that. But as the relationship with Abe slowly builds, Jason goes with it. ...It scares him sometimes, and definitely surprises him, but Jason goes with it in a way that is really appealing. What also makes this work so well is the complexity of both of these characters. ....Jason comes across arrogant and quick tempered, but he is also so warm and loving underneath. He dotes on Abe, he is caring with his ex-wife, and he is determined to make a relationship with his kids. For his part, Abe is also more than he seems at first. ...What is interesting about Abe is that deep down, there is a much wilder side to him than he lets out. ...There is this wonderful undercurrent of dirtiness between them, of hard, intense, messy sex that makes both of them crazy. ...The men are crazy hot together and it is so much fun to see them really explore both of their desires....I just adored Abe and loved him and Jason together. Rarely do I find a story of two gay men as romantic but this one fits that bill perfectly. The author took two damaged guys, one on each end of the spectrum and merged them into a loving and caring couple. The characters were so wonderful and they captured my heart immediately. ...It was wonderful to watch these two completely different men meld together and support each other..... this is another wonderful book about family and how it doesn't always resemble a storybook but still be perfect anyways.
