I love Cardeno C’s writing style, and this one is right up there with some of the author’s most emotion-evoking stories. And hot? Oh yes, this one is hot.

A beautiful love story between two people who slowly came together to become a perfect pair....The sex in this story was extremely steamy with a touch of rough play. The time they spent getting to know one another was fascinating. My favorite part of the story was watching Abe slowly become a permanent part of Jase's life without Jase even realizing it.....Another amazing and engaging story by Cardeno C. Although they don't have to be read in order, I have read and loved every single story in this series and recommend all of them.

Ahhhhh, bliss! This was the perfect story for my mood. I wanted something light with just a touch of angst, a lot of sweetness and on the shorter side. ...The characters are sad in the beginning, heart-breaking even, with Abel miserable and dwelling on the fact that he doesn't have his mate and never will. When you meet Kai, he's so broken that he can't even shift out of his wolf form. He heals quickly, though, once he's by Abel's side and flourishes into the alpha that he is supposed to be. ... I adored the characters, and while Kai's recovery may be a bit fast for some, I won't deny that I enjoyed his quick turnaround. I loved the concept of two alphas bonded together and before they're born too!

The journey that Sam and Korban take to get to their happily ever after is full of ups, downs, twists and turns, making for some exciting reading. Yes, their sexual chemistry was off of the charts, but the author's ability to write deeply emotional characters made the bed play a minor part of the story as a whole. That, right there, made In Your Eyes by Cardeno C. a win/win for me, and guaranteed that I'll be reading the other two books in the series.
