I found myself loving this short tale of two very different men who worked so well together. They had great chemistry and were hot together.

I really loved this story. It spans several decades and the unfolding of Zev and Jonah's maturity is a great read. When they finally reach their HEA, I got the full blast of a romantic fulfillment that made the heart thrum.

Some of the basic plot of true mates was tried and true but the author put such a unique spin on different aspects that he/she made this story really stand out. If you enjoy shifter stories and/or stories about people fated to be together I highly recommend this book.

In Another Life gives us such a unique story structure, one that is so creative and really kept me captivated. ... These guys just worked together for me, mushy romance and all. The story has such a great holiday feel, with the ideas of true love and destiny, of finding that home and family, and ultimately acceptance. ... It is really more a feeling of the holiday magic, of comfort and love and finding your place with people who care about you. I enjoyed this one quite a lot and found it unique in structure and very heartwarming and romantic. Definitely recommended.
