Ahhh, I really liked this one. This is a very sweet book. Cute and cuddly through and through. This is also a classic Cardeno C contemporary. When CC nails a contemporary romance you get highly likeable characters and a truly delightful story. That’s this book. That’s Oliver and Jaime. They are perfect for one another, their love addictive, infectious, and squoogey.

The journey is fraught with frustration, but the destination was so worth it!

Cardeno C.'s moving and insightful novella, A Shot at Forgiveness, provides a rather different view of the bullying many gay and lesbian children and teens are forced to endure. ... Is it credible that in some situations the bully is more confused about and tormented by his sexuality than his victim? In my own view, for whatever it's worth, that might explain more than a few cases of bullying. Without including spoilers in this review, I can say there are even more surprising turns in A Shot at Forgiveness than a famous and wealthy NBA MVP's making contact with his former victim. I can also affirm that the way Cardeno C. shapes the story makes them all believable. They certainly don't happen every day, but who'd wish to write or read about every-day matters? I must also praise Cardeno C.'s writing style... Rafi and Isaac's story won me over. I highly recommend it.

I love both Spencer and Emilio and even Emilio's brothers. All the characters are engaging and fun and I really lapped up this story. It was sweet and spicy all rolled up into a book I couldn't put down until I was done. Absolutely fabulous!

I would recommend this book for MM romance fans who like the development of a relationship as well as the hot scenes. This one is funny as well as heart warming and you get appearances by several characters from the other books. A fantastic series that I really enjoyed reading and highly recommend.
