GAHHHHHH. Cardeno C got me again with Rough Edges. Two more boys to add to my list of favorites. I’m a sucker for a friend/enemy story. Rich pretty boy Brent and brooding hard working Kyle. Talk about polar opposites, but you can’t always judge a book by its cover especially when it comes to these boys. They are so much more then what they want us to see…..
It’s amazing how much information and character development CC can put in a short story. Definitely a fun, flirty and hot read
Very romantic read, and would highly recommend for those who love to reach an HEA in under an hour.
Places in Time is a funny, sexy short story worth listening to. As an added bonus, Cardeno C.—or Ginger, rather—has a lesson to teach us. Sometimes we all need a good kick in the pants to see what is right in front of our noses!
Please note that previous characters don't play a role so it can be read as a standalone. ...There's lots of vivid imagery in this well written and paced story ... There's plenty of emotion and angst, and the danger and betrayal is woven throughout the last half which keeps the pages turning. There are several twists, and we even learn a little more about pack history, which I enjoyed.
Cardeno C. ... stories are always a soft build immersed with heat and heart... This book has a great feel to it. You get to see the growth of Asher and the bond grow between these two which was sweet yet still spicy. As always Cardeno C. knows how to infuse so much emotion and heart into these stories that you are reeled in from beginning to end routing for the couple.
