Until Forever Comes Reviews

Live Your Life, Buy the Book Now that was a sweet and sexy read! Whew! This is my first book by this author but won't be my last. I didn't read the first one and followed along just fine so no worries there. ... I liked a lot of things about this book. The sex was hot and frequent. ... Both men accepted their attraction easily despite everything being against them. I love a vicious vamp and these were definitely that with a dash of compassion. ... Ethan's POV was very distinct with his dialect and word usage. I smiled almost every time he said pecker. ... I liked this book. If you're in the mood for a steamy vamp and wolf romance then I'd recommend it.

Manic Readers When Ethan, a true underdog (pun intended), meets Miguel (a vampire) and realizes what made him weak might actually be fixed by the one he expected to cause his demise the premise is set for a very entertaining, and engaging, story. Miguel, as the centuries-old wise vampire and Ethan, as a sort of hick country fella, sure do not seem like mates. In fact it is the differences, and the acceptance of them from each other, that bring the strength to this novel. As things progress and prejudices (internal and external) are barreled through you have the opportunity to see how love can conquer all! As with the first in the series, Cardeno C. has done a masterful job weaving a complex story filled with all sorts of characters who clearly are themselves in Until Forever Comes. You really feel these folks; they take on a life of their own and their actions and words become cemented in your heart. The emotion is not punchy but steady, a build up that keeps you invested until the very end. In a world of overdone tropes this one brought freshness, uniqueness that set it above the rest. The writing here is really the draw; smooth, flowing, and well crafted it leads you on the journey. At first I thought I wouldn't be able to handle Ethan at all with his very sort of country boy persona and language but it grew on me and it was so much a part of him. Simple but dedicated and loyal. Miguel with his innate class and centuries of wisdom is the perfect foil and watching them get together was a joy. They never merged (how some couples almost seem the same after a while) and this meant I was into them for the duration of the story waiting to see what would happen. Recommended!

MM Good Book Reviews This book was simply music to my ears, right down to the most non-descript moan. This book was also by far one of CC's sexiest novels as well.

MM Good Book Reviews This story is part of a series and can be read in any order. This is a brilliant story that tells us the tale of Miguel and Ethan who we met briefly in Wake Me Up Inside. ... Miguel and Ethan are wonderful characters, Ethan with his simple needs and plain words and Miguel with his badass attitude and need to protect Ethan. I can't tell you how much I adored Ethan and his easy attitude, his willingness to forgive others and how he wraps Miguel around his little finger without even trying. I loved Miguel's take no crap attitude and how, when he accepted his feelings for Ethan, he would do anything for him even when it goes against what he wants to do. I loved the easy storyline that has just a smidge of danger and the sex is hot and they are made for each other in every way, it just warms you up seeing them together. The storyline is great and we learn a lot more about the world the paranormals live in, when they were even further removed from humanity and when the animosity between vampires and shifters was high. This story is an easy read with just a touch of danger from jealous vampires, Ethan and Miguel are this story, their coming together, being perfect for each other and providing just what the other needs, both of them helping to save the pack even when they turn their back on Ethan and the discovery that not all wolves have shifter mates and that true mates could be anywhere or anyone. I recommend this story to all those who love shifters and vampires, a great love story, hot sex, a touch of danger, a pissed off vampire and a very wonderful happy ending.

My Fiction Nook Book 2 in the Mates series, just as quickly devoured by this reader as the first one, tells the story of Ethan Abbatt, a young wolf shifter who can't shift, and Miguel Rodriguez, a centuries old, powerful vampire...Prejudice is explored quite well in this novel, and could be liked to interracial relationships - the comparison is most apt.....The first time mating was super hot, but also extremely emotional, as I've come to expect from this author, and as a reader I will always feel as if the moment is sacred and special. The connection between mates is cemented upon the first love making, and this was no different here. Ethan may have been from a small Georgia town, and he wasn't a learned man, which is expressed in his speech and mannerisms, but he's no dummy. And Miguel, despite being as old as he is, still has things he can learn from Ethan - it's a good thing Miguel is no dummy either, and once he gets over his initial disbelief, he's fiercely protective, something the other vampires and anyone who tries to cross or hurt Ethan should have heeded. I loved how the author explored the meaning of family, and how love is stronger than prejudice. The main villain in this book gets what's coming to him, and all is well that ends well. Honest communication and great dialogue rounded out a super awesome story that I liked almost as much as the first one.
